- The White Desert - The excursion spans 2 days and includes an overnight stay.\n Departure is from Cairo in the early hours, heading to Bahariya Oasis in a comfortably air-conditioned private vehicle, a journey lasting approximately 4 to 5 hours. Upon reaching the oasis, specifically at Mr. Tamer’s residence, lunch will be served. Post-lunch, we embark on our jeep safari, beginning with the Black Desert, followed by a visit to Al Haouz village to witness the refreshing cold spring. The adventure continues with a trip to Crystal Mountain and the Aqabata area. A key attraction is the White Desert National Park, after which we proceed to explore the ancient White Desert, including the tent and mushroom zones, as well as the new White Desert to admire the stunning chalk formations. Finally, we’ll select an idyllic spot to establish our campsite, where we’ll enjoy dinner and tea by the campfire before spending a tranquil night under the celestial canopy.

The White Desert (about 3,000 square kilometers) is unique in various aspects and details that make it one of the most special and unique shrines among nature reserves. It is the kingdom of white par excellence, day and night, as it is covered with white sand, limestone and chalk rocks, unique geological formations and fossil remains, and the moon’s rays are reflected in the evening on its bright white land. Some of its rocks, due to their unique composition, also store sunlight during the day and rebroadcast it at night, in a complete simulation of what the moon itself does.
Everything is legendary in the White Desert. The huge, rare chalk rocks are not just rocks, but giant, plastic sculptures that colonize the void, carved by the creative hand of nature. There is the rock that is in the shape of a bird, that is in the shape of an animal, that resembles a “Sphinx” statue, that resembles a human being, that mimics a tree, and that becomes a canopy under which passers-by lie.
