Amazing food experience - We had an absolutely amazing experience with Isabel. She is one of the kindest people I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Her knowledge is extensive, and her sense of humor is unmatched, making every interaction delightful. Isabel is not just a home chef; she's a culinary artist. Her impeccable skills in the kitchen left us in awe. Every dish she prepared was a masterpiece. She truly deserves the best review ever.

You Will Love This Experience! - We would highly recommend this experience! Isabel was the ultimate gracious hostess. Getting the opportunity to share a meal, and discuss countless subjects, with this lovely lady was orders of magnitude better than simply going to a restaurant.

Dinner with Isabel was absolutely delightful. - The food was fresh local generous and authentic, the wine super, the atmosphere ‘at home’ was warm and very much like being with a close friend. I had the most amazing time talking about history, culture, art, cinema, music, philosophy and Portuguese society and connections to Brazil. Isabel is such a wonderfully gorgeous earthy soulful host. It was hard to leave.

Do this early in your Lisbon visit! - The moment you enter Isabel’s apartment, you can tell it’s going to be a highlight of your trip: Her warm welcome, the art and personal mementos, background music, a table setting with array of local appetizers and flavors. And it doesn’t disappoint. Go find out for yourself - the unusual history of Isabel’s home - and taste her delicious cooking. Enjoy her stories and conversation. Take away some recommendations on places to go and things to do based on your interests, that will get you away from the crowded tourist sites.

Home in Lisbon - I had already done this experience a few years ago when I was in Lisbon alone. This time I wanted to share it with my partner Peter. It was really amazing to reunite with Isabel. Isabel is an amazing cook and exposes her guests to so many delicious regional Portuguese cuisines and wines explaining the importance within the Portuguese culture. She puts heart into the experience. The conversation between all of us flowed so easily as she has is knowledgeable about so many topics. She is warm and inviting. She also has such great style and was wearing really cool beautiful jewelry made by her talented daughter. In fact, one of the sweet moments of the evening was when I realized I had bought a necklace at a well curated Portuguese shop that carried her daughter’s jewelry. It was just such a magical evening. We highly recommend this experience. We can’t wait to return to Lisbon so that we can do it again!!

An enchanted evening with Isabel - This was my first experience dining with a local in any of the countries that we have visited. We are world travelers having traveled to 6 continents and dozens of countries. Isabel welcomed our party of 8 when she usually accommodates a maximum of 7 people. The table was set to perfection and had a wide array of appetizers that was so inviting. We sat down and Isabel explained all of the appetizers on the table and poured a selection of red and white wine. We had four courses and Isabel explained each one of them. Each dish was absolutely delicious and Isabel was the perfect Host. We spent 3 lovely hours with Isabel drinking wine, and eating the way the Portuguese Locals do. A great time was had by all! Dreadful lack of customer service - Absolutely awful service. We waited for our guide at 12.20. As no one turned up I then sent a message to aviator the tour company only to find our booking had been cancelled that morning. My mum then checked her emails and saw she had received an email at 08.20 that morning. No one bothered to call and we wasted an hour of our holiday for an event that never happened. A phone call would have been very beneficial and saved us huge inconvenience. Up your customer service please!

Company cancelled at last minute leaving . Waiting for refund for 5 - Cancelled at last minute . Still waiting for refund for 5 adults . We were too late to book any other tour . Original guide unavailable and that’s totally acceptable but it looked like the tour was going ahead as company kept updating us to get ready for tour to be cancelled at last min . Not good treatment
