Istanbul - Arrival Day – 18th December 2020

Istanbul - Meet at the airport and transfer to your hotel. After receiving your room key, the rest of the day is free for you to explore Istanbul. Overnight stay in Istanbul.

Istanbul City Tour – 19th December 2020

Istanbul - Pick up at 08:30am from your hotel for a full-day tour of old Istanbul city. Visit TOPKAPI PALACE, the grand palace of the Ottoman sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries, which houses an exquisite collection of crystal, silver, and Chinese porcelain, robes worn by the sultans and their families, the famous jewels of the Imperial Treasury, miniatures, and the Holy Mantle, which enshrines relics of the Prophet Mohammed. Next, visit the SULTANAHMET IMPERIAL MOSQUE, also known as the BLUE MOSQUE due to its stunning interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles, built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet. Then, explore the HIPPODROME, the ancient site of chariot races, featuring three monuments: the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column, and the Column of Constantine. Lunch break at 13:00pm. After lunch, Murtis Tour will take you to the SPICE BAZAAR (Egyptian Bazaar), where the air is filled with the enticing aromas of cinnamon, caraway, saffron, mint, thyme, and every other conceivable herb and spice. The rest of the evening is free for you to explore Istanbul. Overnight stay in Istanbul.

Gallipoli Tour – 20th December 2020

Canakkale - Depart at 07:30am for Gallipoli to visit the battlefields. After a two-hour drive, we will take a 20-minute break at a restaurant area. Arrive in Gallipoli around 12:00pm, followed by a lunch break and some relaxation. Then, depart to visit the battlefields, starting with the Gabatepe Museum. Continue to Ariburnu Cemetery and Anzac Cove, the sites where the war began. Then visit Beach Cemetery, Shrapnel Valley, and Plugges Plateau. After the tour, drive to your hotel. Overnight stay in Canakkale.

Troy Tour - Pergamon – Kusadasi – 21st December 2020

Kusadasi - Depart at 08:30am for a 30-minute drive to Troy. Visit the famous archaeological and mythological site of Troy, home of the Trojan Horse and Helen of Troy. After the Troy tour, drive for 3 hours to Pergamon. Lunch break around 13:00pm. After lunch, tour the magnificent acropolis of Pergamon, known for its impressive temples and library, which made it a renowned cultural and political center. Pergamon is also famous for its jewelry, stones, and silver. On the way, visit a jewelry center for 30 minutes. Arrive in Kusadasi around 18:00pm. Overnight stay in Kusadasi.

Kusadasi - Ephesus Tour - Turkish Village Sirince – 22nd December 2020

Kusadasi - Depart at 08:30am from the hotel for a fully guided tour of Ephesus, one of the best-preserved ancient sites in the world. Visit the Temple of Artemis, Curetes Street, famous Roman baths, Celsus Library, and Grand Theatre. Lunch break around 13:00pm. After lunch, visit a carpet weaving center, which continues to perform one of the oldest arts in Turkey. Then, take a Turkish Village Tour. Sirince’s construction style today reflects that of Anatolian Greeks, with original white-painted houses on the slope. Sirince Village is also renowned for producing some of the best wines in Turkey, especially fruit wines. On the way, visit one of the famous leather production centers of the region, where you can get a good factory rate. This guided tour allows you to enjoy the shopping experience without the constant nagging and sometimes bullying that is common in Turkish markets. Overnight stay in Kusadasi.

Kusadasi - Pamukkale Tour – 23rd December 2020

Pamukkale - Depart at 08:30am for Pamukkale. Check in at the hotel around 12:00pm, followed by a lunch break until 13:30pm. Afterwards, visit the calcium terraces of Pamukkale (cotton castle) and the ruins of Hierapolis. Walk around this natural phenomenon and have the option to relax in the waters of the natural springs. Overnight stay in Pamukkale.

Pamukkale to Antalya & Christmas Day – 24th December 2020

Antalya - (Breakfast and Dinner included) After breakfast, depart for Antalya. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and check in. In the late afternoon, start the Christmas celebrations, with a visit from Santa at the hotel. Enjoy a festive atmosphere and a memorable Christmas night. Feast on rich Turkish cuisine and party the night away with new friends and live Turkish music. Overnight stay in Antalya.

Antalya Old City & Waterfall Tour – 25th December 2020

Antalya - After breakfast, depart at 08:30am to drive to the Old City Kaleici and the Clock Tower. The old city of Antalya was once surrounded by walls from both the land and sea sides. It was divided internally into four sections by walls, separating different races and religions. Visit Hidirlik Tower, Hadrian’s Gate, and the Clock Tower, which are remnants of the ancient walls. The remaining harbor wall is quite impressive. The area within these city walls is now called the old city (Kale Içi). Overnight stay in Antalya.

Antalya - Konya – Cappadocia – 26th December 2020

Konya - After breakfast, depart early in the morning at 08:00am for Konya. After a 2.5-hour drive, take a coffee break and then continue to Konya for lunch at 13:00pm. After lunch, visit the imposing green-tiled Mausoleum of Mevlana, the mystic founder of the Sufi sect (Whirling Dervishes). After the Konya Mevlana tour, drive to Cappadocia. Arrive in Cappadocia around 18:30pm and check into your hotel. If you wish to join the optional Ballooning activity for tomorrow, please contact your guide to register, as it will take place early the next morning. Overnight stay in Cappadocia.

Cappadocia Tour – 27th December 2020

Cappadocia - Today, explore the Cappadocia region, a volcanic area with geological formations that began 10 million years ago, resulting in unique phallic-like pillars. Known as Katpatuka (Land of Beautiful Horses) by the Persians, this enchanting and mysterious region is also famous for its arts, including ceramics and carpets. Pick up at approximately 09:30am from your hotel for a regular tour. Start with Uchisar Castle, the highest point in Cappadocia. Next, visit the Goreme Open Air Museum, the heart of Cappadocia, famous for its 10th-century frescoes depicting the life of Jesus Christ and monks. Continue to Cavusin, an abandoned village with old cave Greek houses. Have lunch at a restaurant in Avanos. After lunch, visit a pottery workshop to see how pottery is made. Then, go to Pasabagi to see three-headed fairy chimneys. Visit another workshop to see Cappadocian handwoven carpets and kilims. Next, explore Devrent Valley (Imagination Valley), known for its natural rock formations resembling animals. Head to a wine shop in Urgup for wine tasting. The last stop is Three Beauties, three beautiful fairy chimneys with their hats, which are the symbol of Cappadocia. The tour ends around 18:00pm, and you will be returned to your hotel. Overnight stay in Cappadocia.

Cappadocia and Ankara City Tour & Istanbul – 28th December 2020

Cappadocia - Depart at 9:00am for Ankara, a 4-hour drive. On the way, stop at Salt Lake, a natural salt lake and the second-largest lake in Turkey. Arrive in Ankara around 12:30pm and have a lunch break. After lunch, visit the Ataturk Museum at the Ataturk Mausoleum (Ataturk is the founder of modern Turkey). Then, depart for Istanbul. After a 2.5-hour drive, take a coffee break at a restaurant area. Continue driving for another 2.5 hours to Istanbul. Arrive in Istanbul around 19:00pm. Overnight stay in Istanbul.

Istanbul - End of the Tour – 29th December 2020
