Great experience to see the city by water - Well organized, good communication, high end experience. The team made it very easy to find the pick up location. Yacht was high end and provided a relaxing experience. Guide on boat delivered a nice balance of education, fun and allowing guests to just enjoy the ride.

Breathtaking views - Most memorable part of my cruise was the break taking views of both the European and Asian side of Istanbul . It was stunning. The staff was excellent, it was truly a great trip that was well organized. I will definitely do this again.

A great place to visit with great history. - I enjoyed the 3 hours Bosphorus cruise and lunch, the mediators were great and gave detailed history of the prominent icon in the area. Also, the coordinator Jwan was superb.

Amazing Istanbul Boat Tour with a Surprise! - This boat tour was so much fun and educational. I learned many things about Instabul on my first trip to Turkey. Plus, I visited on my birthday and met Elif--She made my tour extra enjoyable and my birthday very special by leading everyone on the boat to sing Happy Birthday to me! I highly recommend that you say "hello" to Elif when you go on an Imca tour because you will not be disappointed :)

Cheap & cheerful cruise did the job. WhatsApp comms could be better. - We did the morning breakfast cruise. Hotel pickup was by foot to walk to nearby bus. WhatsApp contact is critical so you can workout closest point to hotel or AirBNB. Unfortunately it took a looooonng time to get a response. Finally at 10:15pm knee meeting point next day. Cruise itself was quite good. Guides spoke English then Russian. Boat was ok, breakfast ok & 1hr stop we walked past leather shop to nice waterfront cafe.

Boat ride was great. Stop... - Boat ride was great. Stop in Asia side was useless with nothing particular to see. We were led to a leather shop which was skipped by the majority of visitors

You get what you pay for. - After a lot of research on river trips I decided to go with this sunset tour as it was not the cheapest but I didn’t want to waste more money on a trip that basically covered the same area. It also allowed hotel pick up but that involved a walker coming to our hotel (as we were in a semi pedestrian area) and then leading us to a fully packed small bus that took us to line of boats some 10 min drive away in what was like a disused yard and not very inviting. We were herded onto a boat (one of 2 or 3 the company run) with about 100 people. After a 15 min wait we left. The guides speak in English and Russian but the English version is very hard to hear due to their accents and the sound system. We were going into the wind up the river under 2 bridges but when we turned down wind the boat fumes were horrible. I must have consumed a lot as they stuck in my throat for days. The stopover on the Asian side was a waste of time. They try to take you to one leather shop but apart from that there are only a few restaurants. Better to take a picnic and sit by the wharf people watching. The boat gets back around dark and we had to wait another 15 mins to get back on our bus back to hotel. The yard was dark and dusty where the boats were and we stumbled over a couple of beggars that sat on the path to the bus. As my title suggests.. you get what you pay for so I was happy I didn’t spend any more than the 20 euros it cost. I wonder if it would be better to pay 10 euro and just take the 1.5 hour trip.
