Superb & satisfying! - The visit to the tile shop with demonstration. Our guide was very knowledgeable & could convey her knowledge in an easy to understand way! Ece was very thorough & helpful! She was extremely accommodating, for which we were very grateful! This tour was the best one we have had so far!!

Fabulous experience and guide - A great introduction to Istanbul and couldn't ask for a better guide than Ece. A wonderful trip filled with history - I had a wonderful tour with Ece. She was incredibly insightful and informative, and had a real joy in sharing her knowledge of history. I was lucky enough to have a one-on-one tour, and we visited many sites where she showed me traces of ancient Rome. It was a delightful tour, and I highly recommend it to anyone with an interest in the history of such a magical city.

Excellent underground tour - I've been on many of these tours in different cities over the last ten years. All excellent. This one, however, was special. Ege has amazing passion and energy. We started (it was just my wife and I on a rainy day) with a hour over coffee of Ege explaining the historical context. She then took us to a series of underground sites that ARE NOT accessible to the public. For example, we did not visit the big cistern. The sites were under hotels and restaurants. Really cool stuff that we would never have seen otherwise. We got a good picture of ancient Constantinople. The tour concluded with a small cistern that fed the royal palace, with a fascinating commercial detour to some artisan shops above the cistern. We could not have had a better tour or tour guide for a cold, rainy day.

Great tour that immerses you in the history of one of the most historically important neighborhoods in the world. - Ece was an amazing guide, and had a great time walking the streets of Sultanahmet looking at ruins! Her knowledge of the subject matter is deep, and she is very engaging and open to conversation. Highly Recommend!
