Emel is the greatest Istanbul guide in the world! - Emel is a wonderful guide! She is very knowledgeable and made accommodations for our time in port. She tailored the experience to prioritize the areas that were important to us and especially baked in the time for my teen daughters' photo ops. She also recommended additional experiences that she believed we may be interested. All the while, she was keeping track of our embarkation times and brought us back to the terminal to personally make sure all was fine. This was a necessity to make our experience one to remember.

Excellent Tour of Istanbul - We had a nice tour of Istanbul with our guide, Mr. Unal. He was amazing and very knowledgeable. He told us many interesting things about Istanbul's history and culture.
We visited Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and the Blue Mosque. Each place was incredible and full of history. We also went to the Grand Bazaar, where we enjoyed shopping and seeing Turkish art.
Mr. Unal showed us Istanbul's daily life, and we experienced the city like locals. We took the tram and walked through the beautiful streets. For lunch, we had Turkish meatballs.
Overall, it was a fantastic day. Mr. Unal made sure we had a great time and learned a lot. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Istanbul!

Great tour with a great guide - We visited all the highlights in the itinerary but unfortunately Grand Bazaar was closed due to a religious festival and we ran out of time for Galata tower.
Rukiye was an excellent guide explaining in detail all the history as well as other interesting facts and stories associated with each of the places we visited. The harem at Topkapi palace was definitely worth a visit and the interior of Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque was beautiful and amazing.
We were able to skip the long queues (since guides can get priority) which saved a lot of time. (There were many large groups from cruise ships and because of the religious festival/holiday).
Definitely recommend a private tour especially if short on time.
