Unveiling the Splendor of Hagia Sophia - Hagia Sophia Mosque, a former Byzantine church and Ottoman mosque, is an architectural marvel and a must-visit attraction in Istanbul. The sheer scale, stunning Byzantine mosaics, and intricate Islamic calligraphy left me awestruck. The blend of Christian and Islamic influences creates a unique and fascinating atmosphere. Highlights: - Breathtaking dome and vaulted ceiling - Exquisite Byzantine mosaics and Islamic calligraphy - Rich history and cultural significance - Impressive architecture and design Tips for Visitors: - Dress modestly and remove shoes before entering - Hire a guide to appreciate the history and significance - Be prepared for crowds and security checks - Take your time to absorb the serene atmosphere Rating:5/5 stars Recommendation:_Absolutely! Hagia Sophia Mosque is an unforgettable experience that showcases Istanbul's rich cultural heritage.

Amazing historical 🕌 mosque - Al hamdulilah we had the opportunity to do jomaa prayer . Such an amazing historical mosque . Its just 2 things that needs to be improved 1: ventilation as it was extremely hot inside 2: at Friday after prayer to widen the exits so people can go out in an easier manner.

Beautiful - We visited the place with my husband and our 9 year old son, it is one of the must stops in Istanbul, the tour on our own takes us only about 40 minutes, you can do several things within this circuit as it is next to the Cistern and the Blue Mosque.

Not the best visit to Istanbul - There are many mosques to visit in Istanbul but Hagia Sophia is really not the most beautiful. It is very expensive €25 and the mosque is completely dilapidated. The visit lasts 10 minutes I advise against, a little ride, and then leave!

Extremely expensive for a dilapidated monument - Extremely expensive price for the monument 25€ per person, we were 3 that makes 75€ per person for a building this huge but completely dilapidated. When opposite we visit the sublime blue mosque for free. That is, it was free before January 2024. The entry prices to Istanbul are exorbitant and very exaggerated it is scandalous. 52€ per person visiting Topkapi no museum/palace in France or in our travels around the world demands such abusive prices. A shame
