A Wonderful Day! - I had a lovely day with Gurcen! He was on time, his English was good, he was accommodating and eager to take me to all of the places I want to go. He laid out a tour route and suggested something I hadn't listed. There was no hurry or stress of any kind. Communicating with him electronically made everything flow smoothly. I recommend him as he is a good guide and a friendly and enjoyable person. Janie from New Orleans

Don't Eat the Lunch - The Beylerbeyi Palace and Camlica Hill. Both were beautiful places to learn of some of the history on the Asian side of Istanbul. I enjoyed them both. Also the market place. What I did not enjoy was the rip-off at the restaurant that was recommended by the tour guide. It was the most expensive lunch for 2 people I have ever had in the world, $124.91. I don't recommend going with the tour recommendation on where to eat lunch. I was very surprised and disappointed and felt it was geared to take advantage of tourists who obviously don't know any better. Sad but true.
