Lovely day - Our guide Numan was charming, flexible and EXTREMELY knowledgeable. I have some physical limitations and he was able to cater for them very well. It was a lovely day on his company and we got to see all we hoped to see of Istanbul.

Best tour ever - Our guide, Haman was the best. This was probably the best tour that we have taken he managed to get us into the palace, cistern, and blue mosque at very good times. He was very good at explaining all of the history and customs. The restaurant that we had lunch at was phenomenal. The tour was educational and fun we would have never been able to do it on our own. Well worth the cost.

Brilliant tour - highly recommend - Our guide Jason (Yasin?) was amazing. He was enthusiastic and incredibly knowledgeable. He made the city come to life. It was a great tour. We learnt such a lot. It was great to have skip the line tickets (you need to pay extra though for the tickets, so be prepared for that). I thoroughly recommend this tour (and the guide).

Great tour for solo travelers with pick up drop off - Great 1 to 1 private tour with a female tour guide. Felt safe and the entire experience was educating. My tour guide was a great historian. We skipped a few things and adjusted the itinerary to my schedule. Rec local restaurant to get a bite to eat and coffee. Took me to an expensive jewelry store and a rug store which I didn’t care for. Otherwise great tour with pick up and drop off. I was a solo female traveler so safety was my main concern. Felt safe and loved the tour!

Big Ozzie Fans 👍🏼 - We absolutely adored our tour guide Ozgur Mutlu! We are not usually a “tour” family (we typically prefer to explore on our own) but we knew we needed someone for this city we had never explored. He shared helpful and entertaining information so we could understand Instanbul in the little time we were there. My Dad is a bit older and walks a little slow—Ozzie was quite patient and I noticed him making extra effort to make my dad comfortable, which meant the world to us. We enjoyed our conversations with him and will recommend him to everyone we know coming to Instanbul!

Great tour but expensive meal - Mustafa was great guide, showed us to the iconic places. Initially it was a bit hard finding him as he wasn’t at the exit of the port like all the other guide but we found each other thanks to WhatsApp. All good, except the restaurant and ice cream places that he took us to were very expensive, I think they have been markup heavily for tourists so watch out for that.

Great first half of tour - The first part of the tour was great. Our guide took us swiftly through all the sites promised and gave just enough information to keep it interesting but not too long and boring. He took us to a lunch spot that was pricey for 4 people plus guide (200Euros and we paid the guide) but it was delicious and with a bit of air conditioning, it was a welcome site to sit and enjoy lunch after walking all morning. The second part of the tour was supposed to be shopping at the bazaar. But the guide took us in for just less than 5 minutes - enough for a photo. And said there were better places on the outiside. He then took us to a place called Bilgins, which clearly is a place all the guides take people, since they were all standing outside. Purses were knockoff name brand and shoes and clothes all had named brand tags but were not LV or Gucci. And they wanted $500+ for bags and $12k for rugs! It was such a waste of time. And so he took us to another store that was much the same and a pottery shop that wanted $6500 for a piece of pottery. Finally, we asked if we could go to back to the bazaar and he said no. He walked us to a corner and we asked if we could just walk around and meet him back there at a later time. And then we left and went back to the bazaar on our own where we found the same bags for $80 and all kinds of fun touristy stuff for cheap. Wished we had more time to stay at the bazaar - it was a blast for the 30 minutes we got to be there on our own. We got the impression that he wanted us to shop where he was taking us because he would get a kickback. It was disappointing to say the least.
