Lovely - The masterclass was very interesting, our host, Dean, gave us historical context behind the coffee drinking culture in Turkey. The prediction thing was quite fun as well and in general the place where the master class took place had a very lovely atmosphere.

An Unforgettable Experience with Turkish Coffee Making and Spoke Competition - Me and my family had the pleasure of participating in a Turkish coffee making and prediction competition, and it was an experience beyond the usual! The event combined the traditional art of Turkish coffee making with a fascinating prediction competition, where participants could read their future in the darkness of coffee. The coffee making part was both educational and entertaining. The instructor was extremely knowledgeable and explained the different steps with great patience and passion. We learned about the history of the coffee, the different techniques and were even allowed to try the forces of brewing the perfect cup of Turkish coffee. The fragrance of freshly ground coffee and the authentic atmosphere created a magical atmosphere. After the coffee was brewed, the most exciting moment came: the prediction competition. We had all our cups turned on our heads and waited excitedly to see what fate was waiting for us. The predictors were incredibly skilled and gave detailed and insightful readings that were both fun and thoughtful. It was fascinating to hear what the grums of coffee could reveal about our future. The whole event was well organized and there was a great atmosphere among the participants. It was a unique and enriching experience, which I highly recommend to anyone interested in coffee, culture and a bit of mystery. We left there with a greater understanding of Turkish coffee culture and a feeling of having a glimpse into my own future. A big thanks to the organizers for an unforgettable experience!

Fab little course - We had a fab time. We were the only ‘students’ there that day so had the Instructor all to ourselves. The class was held in a historic building. She started off telling us the history of Turkish coffee-all very interesting. This took about an hour. However, if you’re not interested in history (as my friend wasn’t) this part might drag for you. The second hour was actually hands on making the coffee in 2 different ways while she explained the differences. At the end, she read our coffee cups and was actually spot on! lol I highly recommend taking this course while on your trip in Istanbul, as you learn about the culture and you also get to take home a cezve, cup and saucer and a little coffee to practice making it at home.. or just as a souvenir!

Enjoyable Coffee-Making Experience - Very fun experience with a very knowledgeable host! We were taught the history of coffee in Turkey and the different ways of making it. There was also a lovely hand-made gift at the end.

Amazing workshop - Amazing experience. The guide was so kind and had an informative slide show. She had a hands on demonstration of making the coffee which was so fun and we got to keep our coffee mugs, saucers and a copper heater.
