Istanbul Day Walking Tour - We did a day tour with Ozgur. We had an amazing day. We saw so many highlights of Istanbul and learned so much in one day. Ozgur was very professional and very knowledgeable. He knew the venues and how to judge the crowds to minimize spending time in lines. Ozgur was also very caring. He made sure we got back to our hotel safely. We could not get a taxi to take us to our hotel when the taxi’s refused to take us from old town. He took us on the local public trams and buses and took us directly to the front door our hotel. Thanks Ozgur for a great day.

The Best Istanbul Guide - I doubt there is a better professional Guide in all Istanbul than Ozgur! He is extremely knowledgeable, smart, courteous, an outstanding communicator, and a gentleman. He knows many of the officials who manage the main tourist sites, and as a result, avoided many long lines. He spent over 7 hours guiding me through the key sites, and never pushed or pressured me to hurry. In summary, I would , and will, strongly recommend Ozgur to anyone seeking a superior, educational, and informative tour of Istanbul. Thank you again, Ozgur!

The perfect tour for a day in Istanbul! - The perfect tour for a day in Istanbul! I had 7 hours to see as much as possible - but in a meaningful way. Oz listened to what I wanted to see and helped shape the agenda to maximize our time, avoid the crowds and provide a glimpse into the rich history of Istanbul. Super knowledgeable, Oz brought the sites to life and made the day fun. And - adding that as a woman traveling alone, the communication prior to the tour was fantastic reassuring me that I picked a great company to work with.

Özgür, Our Amazing Guide - We booked a personal guide so we could choose the pace of the day. It goes without saying that visiting Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Palace and the Blue Mosque is truly an amazing experience. And don’t miss the Basilica Cistern. I would strongly recommend a personal guide as there are many advantages. Entering these busy sites is expedited. But the main reason is the quality of the guided tour. We were most fortunate to have Özgür as our guide. He met us promptly at the hotel, we discussed the sites and route to accommodate some walking difficulties. This was extremely helpful. Özgür is very professional with excellent English and Spanish. His comprehensive knowledge of the history and individual sites was so interesting and one on one meant we really had a detailed explanation at all locations. So lovely to be able to hear easily and ask questions. Özgür’s knowledge of the sites meant he was able to show us the best places to appreciate the buildings and take photos. We benefited from Özgür guiding us through rooms of incredible treasures in the Topkapi Palace when often you would be left to wander without a guide. When we needed a break Özgür took us to a lovely restaurant with delicious fresh local dishes. He also walked my husband back in the direction of our hotel when he needed to break away. I continued the tour with Özgür and felt entirely comfortable in his company. I had intended to avoid the Grand Bazaar as had heard stories of fiercely competitive selling, but we went there together as Özgür suggested it is such an old area I would find it interesting. I’m so glad we did this as I thoroughly enjoyed walking past the myriad small stores with Özgür and through the arched wide light halls. No pressure selling from anyone and as it is such a huge area, no concerns finding an exit of which there arec21! I would say this is also worth visiting! I am grateful to Özgür for his very deep and interesting knowledge of the amazing history of Istanbul and for making this a very memorable day for us both. Özgür walked me back to our hotel at the end of the day. I would highly recommend this option when touring in Istanbul.

Great Private Tour - The guide for my tour was Fatih, who did an excellent job of telling me about the history of the places we visited. I did the tour as a solo traveler and Fatih used his knowledge of the attractions to make it go smoothly. He knows all of the tips and tricks so that you will gain admission quickly. I thought this tour was well worth the price and would highly recommend it.

Tour Guide to explore the charming city of Istanbul - Özgür is one of the best guides we have ever had. We had limited time in Istanbul and spend an incredible day touring with him. He has incredible knowledge and makes everything dynamic, exciting and fun. He understands your needs and will tailor your time with him to what you want to see. It’s like travelling with a longtime friend who happens to know everything about the place you’re in. We really enjoyed getting to know him and would highly recommend you use him if you are looking for a local tour guide .

Amazing tour with fantastic tour guide - We visited Istanbul in September for one day on our way back home. To get the best of our stay we chose private guided city tour. That was the best decision we could make. Our guide Özgür, was amazing! We’ve seen in one day so much I couldn’t imagine was possible. Our guide took us everywhere (no lines) and provided a lot of information without being overwhelming. Our tour was completely custom we were choosing what we wanted to see and Özgür was getting us there. Also, he provided insight information about local cuisine and other aspects of life in Turkey. I highly recommend this tour and especially our tour guide to anyone who is visiting Istanbul especially for short stays.

He was very accommodating and thoughtful, and we would highly recommend booking his tour if you’re coming to Istanbul!

Just okay - I was fairly disappointed in this guide. I really couldn’t hear anything because he was talking so softly. Also, when we stopped to take pictures, he never really looked back to see if we were still with him. I actually had to run after him because he walked so far ahead while 2 other people were taking pictures. By the end of the tour, there were only 3 people, so it was a fairly easy group to lead. And I’m trying not to be mean, but when we had other tour guides later on, I realized how little I felt engaged or interested in what this tour guide was saying. Specifically that day, it rained cats and dogs so the tour ended early but I’m not going to count that against him because he did attempt to continue to lead us through the rain. So props for that. The main benefit was the tour guide skip-the-line pass, but honestly, if I just paid for that and had no tour guide, it would have been a similar outcome. The tour included Hagia Sophia, basilica cistern, blue mosque, souvenir shopping, lunch and then we got drenched by a sudden downpour. Overall, would recommend skip-the-line tickets, probably would pass on a tour guide
