  • Caferaga Medresesi - A 300-year-old Muslim school where the tour will begin while enjoying some tea.
  • Sirkeci Station - The splendor and rich history of the Orient Express have often inspired books, films, and television documentaries.

‘Murder on the Orient Express’ (1934), one of Agatha Christie’s most famous works, is set on the Simplon Orient Express. The story takes us back to the 1930s when the Orient Express is halted by heavy snowfall.

A murder is discovered, and Poirot’s journey home to London from the Middle East is interrupted to solve the case. The opening chapters of the novel are set primarily in Istanbul. The rest of the novel takes place in Yugoslavia, with the train trapped between Vinkovci and Brod.

  • Galata Koprusu - The Galata Bridge (Turkish: Galata Köprüsü, Turkish pronunciation: [ˈɡaɫata cœpɾyˈsy]) spans the Golden Horn in Istanbul, Turkey. Since the late 19th century, the bridge has been featured in Turkish literature, theater, poetry, and novels.
  • Pera Palace Hotel - Renowned crime author Agatha Christie was a frequent guest at the Pera Palace Hotel, always staying in Room 411. It is rumored that Christie wrote her famous novel, ‘Murder on the Orient Express,’ in this room. Today, Room 411 is known as the Agatha Christie Room and still contains its original antique furniture and many materials commemorating the late author.

Since the hotel is operational, the room will not be accessible, but the tour will conclude with a drink at the hotel’s patisserie.
