A must in Istanbul - The show was excellent and would do again in a heartbeat. The information shared in advance and onsite was very helpful but the real winner was the incredible movement of the dervishes.

Wonderful experience - Beautiful performance. A very serene experience in the perfect setting. Recommended to anyone wanting to learn a bit about sufism/mevlana order and experience watching dervaishes in ceremony.

Pleasant and engaging show - The show impressed me pleasantly. It creates an atmosphere absolutely different from other clearly commercial shows. The place and atmosphere created is mystical if you get involved. Recommended.

EXPERIENCE NOT TO BE MISSED - Finding the address of the place where the ceremony took place was easy with the simple use of a paper map. The ceremony took place on time, lasted an hour and was interesting. We had booked online and we were allocated front row seats (there are only two rows anyway).

A cultural learning experience - This is a cultural learning experience, not a show as as many seem to think. You see the ceremony of the Sufi Dervishes of the Mevlevi. On the wall above the ceremony there is explanation of each stage of the ceremony so you can understand the ceremony. It is very interesting and insightful. Respect is needed, such as no photography, no clapping, and no talking during the ceremony, which was ignored by some disrespectful people when we were there. If you aren't into learning about culture and being respectful then don't go as you will ruin it for those of us who are!

Boring - The music and singing were good. The Whirling Dervishes performance was disappointing. They should have had the music going faster and faster and the Dervishes keeping up with it. I've seen better. I felt that it was a ripoff. It was somewhat boring. Not worth the money.

Wasn't worthy the price for 10min Repetitive Dance - Wasn't for us. They sang in Turkish most of the time that we didn't understand. The dancing bit was very little & very repetitive. Lots of people felt asleep including us. It's an hour show but it's only a max 10min dance. Wouldn't recommend as it's quite pricey for what we got. There's much better things to do. Some restaurants offer free dance show near Sophia mosque is a better option if you wanna see the cultural dance
