Ricardo sharing the love of his country and his culture - Ricardo our guide/driver shared with us all he knew about the area accommodating us in every way possible. He made sure we all enjoyed smelling the leaves of the fruit. He was witty and made everybody feel comfortable with his safe driving. Superb. Excellent. The guidé is amazing as a chauffeur as a tourist guidé. - If I had to give the scale grade of 1 to 10, we give them an 11. Everything has been super fantastic, despite so much exhausting heat. The Guide, Ricardo, besides being a great driver, is very funny, open, attentive, friendly... In a word it's a crack. We advise you to take this tour boat + Safari 4x4. Best experience we had.

Get to know a little about the sea, mountains of Portugal, Sardines. - We had a great day, we are very grateful to Vitor, he was our guide, he made us spend a nice and fun day. Portugal has a lot to do and know.

It really is a very complete fun accessible tour. - what a nice complete tour with a jeep and a boat. You will be picked up by Jeep and taken to the boat to sail on the Arade River, along the quays of Portimão. Lots of explanations and interesting facts about different elements that can be seen, all told in a fun way by our guide Ricardo. Then we get into a jeep and drive off-road, what fun, to the highest mountain here in the Algarve. We come across oranges, lemons, figs, eucalyptus and all kinds of herbs along the road. We also come across mother Partridge with a lot of mini chicks. We eat puri piri and taste a small glass of Aguardente de Medronho (Medronho fire water), a liqueur made from the Arbutus Fruit Strawberry Tree. Then our very knowledgeable driver/guide also knows all about cork. It really is a very complete fun accessible tour.

A great experience - A great day out with an excellent knowledgeable driver/guide. Only disappointment was the lunch, acceptable but not nearly as good as the lunch stop on other tours with this company

Wonderful educational day! - It was a fantastic day. Luis picked us up at the hotel. From there we went to pick up the others. First we did the boat trip on the Arade River. We learned many things about life on the water, bridges, salt extraction, etc. After the boat trip it was jeep safari time. The international group had a very nice time. Luis was a very good guide, he took the time to let us enjoy the views and to take pictures of the area around Monchique, visiting a beekeeper, making the medronho, the history of cork extraction etc. Thank you! Recommended!!!

Absolutely epic full day tour with fantastic plentiful food and wine, excellent company and you are well looked after!! - We booked a tour, may husband, sister and I, we were greeted by a very funny and friendly guide, Ricardo, who explained everything to us and let us know the plan for the day, introduced all guests to each other and was super considerate to us all which was really nice, we had a little hiccup where our boat stopped working but they got us another one and swapped us over no drama at all, he was very informative and worked very hard to give us all historical information and kept it flowing and interesting, we were then dropped back to Ferragudo for half hour, just enough time to relax and have a drink, then Ricardo was back to pick us up for the keep ride! That was fabulous! Some crazy off roading to get our hearts racing and some beautiful scenic stops to learn about the Monchique mountains, the plants and the culture, we stopped off at a cute little traditional honey and medronho making farm where we learned some more history and got to try some traditional Portuguese wares and buy some too, we then went to a traditional restaurant and had a superb traditional 3 course meal with wine and water, the whole thing far surpassed all of our expectations!! We would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an action packed full day of learning about truly important Portuguese history and facts!! This has to be the best tour operator yet I think!!

Interessante Super Day.. - With 2 families, so a car full, we were picked up by our driver " Ricardo". After a nice interesting boat trip, visit to an old village we went into the mountains for our super day. Off road along all kinds of different places we kept getting an update where we drove past or to. Ricardo took the time to explain things. Lunch of chicken with piri piri and a visit to a traditional distillery was very interesting. Finally we got an explanation of a typical Portuguese product.. cork. All in all a successful day.. Thanks, ricardo.
