In our home, we’ve hosted a gathering of friends every Sunday for years. I aspire to provide our visitors, via culinary delights, the same level of comfort and camaraderie characteristic of our Sunday get-togethers, which only socializing over a meal can manifest.

Via Ripagrande - We will meet in front of the renowned Chocolat pastry shop in the center of Ferrara, from which we will then set off to discover three historic shops: a butcher, a greengrocer and a shop selling typical products where we will buy the ingredients needed to create the menu.
Once home, a welcome glass will be offered, coming directly from the cellars of the area.
We will then get to the heart of the experience, wearing our apron and cooking.
We will create a complete menu: appetizer, first course of homemade pasta, second course with side dish and final dessert with a matching glass on course.
Once the preparations have been completed, guests will eat with us in our living room or, alternatively, in the summer period, on our large terrace.
The added value of this experience is the desire to make known how a Ferrarese family spends their Sundays, in the warmth, in the tranquility of the home, leaving out, for once, the usual experience of communal catering.
At the end, there will be a small gift of our production for the guest.

Amazing evening with some special hosts - What a treat! Matteo and Sofia are the loveliest hosts, an evening I would recommend to anyone who wants to spend some time in great company, eating amazing food and chatting along with some superb wine. The meal they prepared was not only cooked with the finest ingredients and the best of care, but also crafted with love and passion. Do not miss this genuinely amazing experience.

Goodbye and see you soon! - A truly pleasant experience that begins with a breakfast at the bar and a stroll around the center of Ferrara, and then continues the day at Sofia and Matteo's house where they literally made us put our hands in the dough. Our menu included traditional Ferrara dishes, so homemade fried pinzini with cured meats, pumpkin cappellacci with ragù and tenerina cake to conclude. We let ourselves be guided by the expert hands of Matteo and Sofia in working the dough and closing the cappellacci. What can I say, it was a more than positive experience which introduced us to the culinary tradition of Ferrara more closely and allowed us to spend a few hours in the company of a super welcoming couple full of passion in what they do.
Until next time!
