This is really just a... - This is really just a shared transfer to Chefchaouen, but it was good value for money and definitely worth doing. Van was air conditioned, a bottle of water provided and there were a couple of stops each way. We got 4 hours to look around the blue city which was ample time. No guide, but that didn’t matter

Put a patch on it - After 2 excursions in the Marrakech area, for which we were contacted in advance by the tour operators and which went great, we didn't expect all this mess. We chose a riad not far from ours and on their list as a pick-up point, also asking if they preferred a nearby area, but they never responded to our message. The evening before the excursion, having not had any contact, we tried to send a WhatsApp message via their website, but the number didn't seem active. In the morning at 7:50 we show up at the meeting point, where no one shows up. We wait for 45 minutes, trying again to call and send an email without success. Shortly afterwards we receive an email informing us that one of them was waiting for us at our riad (which we remember was not the meeting point). We run back, but we find no one. There we meet an employee of another tour operator who says he knows the guy, he makes a series of phone calls and tells us to follow one of his collaborators, we arrive in a car park outside the medina and the owner comes to pick us up directly and tells us to get in machine. It's around 9:30, on a busy road in Fes and we are loaded onto a 30-seater bus from another tour operator that left late. The journey was very long, over 4 hours each way, extremely uncomfortable, without air conditioning and without even the shadow of the mentioned water. The bus had suspensions that felt like a trampoline, every pothole or bump threw you (literally) off your seat. The return journey took perhaps even longer, returning to Fes at 10.30pm, with the first stop in the service area after 2 and a half hours. Chefchaouen is what it is, a small village decorated for tourists (but we already knew this), but with all this excitement, perhaps it would be better to travel by CTM or spend a little more for a grand taxi. We appreciated the organizer's effort to let us leave anyway, but given the overall inconvenience, perhaps it would have been better to receive a refund and enjoy a relaxing day, without back pain.

No pick up/drop off or small group as per booking - We booked a small group tour (max 10) with pickup to Chefchaouen. The night before I got a message asking us to meet them at the Blue Gate at 8am. I asked why they weren’t picking us up and they replied it was a very busy tour. I asked how many they had and they said 40. I replied stating that I had booked the small group tour which they said they would move us to. No choice but to walk 15 minutes in the dark through the unfamiliar crazy Medina streets after arriving the day before. Got to pickup and another 30 minute wait. Small group was 17 not 10. The driver said two sentences to us all day. “Back here 20 minutes” and “back here at 5”. It was wonderful walking the streets of Chefchaouen ourselves and such a beautiful town. Driver was very safe which was great. Be advised that even though website states pickup/drop off they won’t do it and small group tour you may not get it.

Misleading tour description - The description of this tour is not accurate. "Max 10 per group" there were 14 in our van plus the driver. "Water provided". No it wasn't ever provided. "12 hours". It was 14 hours long. Chefchaouen itself was neat, and we did have 4 hours there.

Disastrous experience! - We were delighted with the idea of spending a day with friends in Chefchaouen. The journey was more than perilous! Sami disrespected my Moroccan friend who didn't let it happen and he made her understand that if she wasn't happy, she could get out of the van. What we have done. Subsequently, the guide, Othman, tried to find a solution for us. We took a bigger bus, thinking we were out of our misery. During the trip, many buckets of water had to be thrown on the bus. Nothing was communicated to us, but it seemed worrying. Arriving in Chefchaouen, Othman informs us that the bus driver's driving is dangerous and that it might be better for us to take a taxi (at our expense!) for the return to Fez. He absolves himself of any responsibility. The versions follow one another: bus too old and no longer roadworthy, bus which will perhaps still return to the road (because it is cooler in the evening), Sami remains unreachable despite our numerous attempts, ... We have all in all, wasted 1h30 discussing, parleying and exchanging our contacts with the other passengers, then a good half hour filing a complaint with the company where we had purchased the tickets, which generated stress and frustration . We finally decided to take a taxi so we could enjoy our day a little bit (8 hours of driving + all that wasted time, it was a lot) and demanded a refund. Some passengers had a plane to catch early in the morning and returned after 11 p.m. by taking the bus. This is simply unacceptable from A to Z!

Do not book a tour with this company - TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY The driver never showed up despite my bookin being confirmed. I messaged the tour company multiple tines to confirm pick up but heard nothing back. I then tracked down a whatsapp number on there actual website. I called the number and a very aggressive man answered asking why did I not call him earlier!!!!!! I told him I called the contract details provided and he said that is the fair of TripAdvisor not him!!! He was shouting at me on the phone saying i need to book a private tour now and ut it will cost 120 euro. TripAdvisor should not advertise tours like this

Lack of professionalism. - For starters, know that your tour only includes transportation. We were not provided with any bottles of water despite what was stated at the time of booking and the journey is long and tortuous. On the outward journey we left at 8:00 and arrived at 1:00! The driver, although good, does not speak English very well. The owner will contact you continuously to insistently ask you for a review. He had offered us a hotel-station transfer (5 minutes by car) but we waited in vain for it to arrive and missed our train! This denotes lack of professionalism. In conclusion, I advise you to choose something else if you don't want to ruin your holiday in Morocco.
