- Bou Inania Medersa - After passing through the gate, take a quick left, then a right onto Talaa Kebira. As you pass numerous intriguing stalls and cafés, make a stop at Medersa Bou Inania (20 Drh). Built in the 1350s, this madersa is the most exquisite theological school in the city and includes a complete mosque.
- Chouara Tannery - Situated in Fes el Bali, the oldest medina quarter of the city, near the Saffarin Madrasa along the Oued Fes.
- Place R’cif - Turn right, passing the dyers’ souk and mirror stalls along Leather Street before reaching the delightful Place Seffarine.
- Fes el-Bali - You are now back on the main shopping streets. The stunning Souk el Attarine offers a variety of clothes and jewelry and is adjacent to the highly ornate mausoleum of Moulay Idriss III. Built in 1323, many consider this the heart of the Medina.
- Museo Nejjarine - Explore the Henna Souk and the Museum of Woods, Arts & Crafts (20 Drh) at the restored fondouk in Place an-Nejjarine. Then, proceed along Talaa Seghira and return to the Blue Gate to find a spot for a late lunch.
- Place Seffarine - Place Seffarine is an ideal location for a break. Enjoy a sweet mint tea on the pavement at Crèmerie la Place and observe the metal-workers as they skillfully shape their copper pots and pans.

Nice city tour with a friendly local - Idriss make us like Fes a lot more. He very friendly, supportive and knowledgeable. He introduced the history of the Medina, local food, recommended some good restaurants, especially he explained the style and functions of architecture and even why the city has a lot of cats. He also took a lot of pictures for us to memorise the trip. We feel lucky to choose his tour after the scam on the day we arrived, make us believe that Fes is still a worth visit city.

A fantastic tour with a friendly guide - Idriss is very friendly guide. He is very knowledgeable and he shared a lot of interesting information about the medina. The places he took us to (incl those in the itinerary and extra places that we would like to visit such as carpet shops, restaurant recommendation) were all worth going. As he said, he wouldn’t take us to bad places!
Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who would like to enjoy a half day tour in the medina with a knowledgeable and friendly guide

Best tour guide for Fez medina - Great visit with Idriss who showed us the medina of Fez. As he grew up in the city, he has lots of knowledge, knows the people and vendors, and shows you the highlights during a 3 hour tour. He picked us up at the riad in the morning. Idriss speaks perfect English and French and is very friendly.
I highly recommend you book him to visit the medina the firts time. Well worth the time and money.
Thanks again Idriss.

Great experience with a great guide! - We had a really great tour with an really good guide, Idriss! He showed us a lot of hidden gems of the medina but also the highlights, such as the tannery and madrassa. He asked several times if we wanted to see or do something, so he adjust his plan to yours. Idriss speaks very good English and knew a lot. We would definitely recommend him as a guide!

An exceptional moment - Excellent tour in the medina with great flexibility from our super guide: Ba Driss who knows Fes and the Fassis like the back of his hand. We were really able to see everything we wanted. This allowed us to visit historic places and discover other artisans as well. Thank you a thousand times for everything.

The highlight of our trip. - Idriss was a fantastic local guide. From Fes, his knowledge of the area, its architecture and its history were fantastic. He was very personable, and had answers to all of our questions. He was very patient as we took our time exploring the bustling medina, the beautiful Al-Attarine madrasa, the impressive tanneries, and lots more!

Fantastic tour of Fes - We had a really great time exploring the old medina with Idriss. He is a very kind and knowledgable man who speaks many languages and was able to explain lots about the local history to us. He did not try to sell us anything and waited patiently whilst we looked around. Would really recommend taking a tour with him - it enhanced our experience of Fes. Thank you Idriss for a wonderful day!
