I recommend 100% - Great experience, complete and rich, we left with beautiful memories. We made mosaic, enamels and pottery lathe.

Hands on fun in Fes! - This was a great family experience with our group of ten. Mourad and his team toured us around Fes and we finished at the pottery workshop where we learned the basics of making mosaics and pottery! We even got a chance at the pottery wheel with the help of experts at the shop. A fun day in Fes!

A truly immersive experience in the world of Moroccan ceramics - I would recommend this atelier to anyone who wants to learn more about Moroccan ceramics or to have a different and authentic experience.
You will initially be shown and explained the different techniques of working and painting clay and then mosaic composition. At every step you will be accompanied not only by an expert guide to ask all kinds of questions, but also by exceptional craftsmen. In addition to the fun of getting your hands in the dough, you will be impressed by the generosity and sympathy of the guide and artists of the cooperative.

Great pottery workshop! - We had a great time at the pottery cooperative! Our guide was very friendly and interesting, and all the people and teachers of the cooperative very nice and pedagogues! We are delighted to have been able to test the different techniques and to have learned more about the incredible work of pottery and mosaic in Fez. And we came away with some pretty coins! We highly recommend this workshop during your visit to Fez!!

A great experience for any age - What an amazing day, we got to choose our pick-up time, a taxi collected us from near our Riad and took us to the place, everyone was super friendly and attentive, we painted pots, made a ceramic tile and had a go on a potters wheel and they will drop our finished, fired pots at the Riad tomorrow.... thoroughly recommended.

Very good!! - It was great my guide was super patient and kind to take lots of pictures. Of course you don’t become an expert in pottery in 2 hours but you have the opportunity to touch everything a bit and see the breadth of the talent of these craftsmen. The showroom is well stocked, lots of nice piece to buy. thank you!

Wonderful pottery experience - Wonderful experience! Mourad was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He was very encouraging and made the workshop a highlight of our vacation. Youssef was very patient helping us on the pottery wheel. Khadija is a beautiful artist and she helped us paint our pottery. Mohamed gave us guidance with the mosaic tile, which was very helpful. We would like to thank all of you for your talents and making our visit to your shop such an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend scheduling a visit here.

Incredible pottery experience - We are so grateful to have connected with Mourad and Ahmed who helped make our stay in Fez memorable. Our family has been traveling for 10 months and our 14 year old son missed doing pottery, one of his regular activities at home. We signed him up for a day workshop at the pottery studio and then asked Mourad if he could do a week long apprenticeship instead. Mourad was thrilled to host him and very flexible and accommodating.
Mourad arranged for the same driver to pick our son up each morning to bring him to the factory and then drove him home when he was done. They assigned him his own wheel to work on for the week, gave him access to the artists who taught him how to make a tangine and how to do traditional Moroccan painting and glazing. Our son felt very comfortable being there on his own each day thanks to the exceptional hospitality provided by Mourad and his team. He had a truly memorable experience!
We also signed up to do a wonderful Zelige workshop as a family, and Ahmed organized a visit for us to the tanneries with his friend who works at the cooperative. Mourad is very good at communicating and eager to help in every way.
The pottery factory is absolutely beautiful. We highly recommend doing one of these workshops to have a meaningful cultural experience while in Fez!
