A golden headache . - Listen. I booked a guide for a tour on 1/10/24 with Mr. Rachid. I received a call on this day informing me that he had another obligation and that he couldn’t accommodate our agreement. Yet he promised to make it up to me if I agreed to reschedule. Reluctantly , I agreed. So he scheduled me for 1/11/24. To say that he came through is an understatement . He was very professional . Spoke English very well and was knowledgeable to the history of this beautiful city. After several hours into my tour I forgot that he was a guide as he made sure that my experience was as close to perfection as possible. He became my friend and brother. He remembered all of my expectations from previous conversations and made sure that I experienced all of it and more. Out of all of the guides that I’ve experienced . I must admit that he was the best thus far. I highly recommend Mr. Rachid as I have book another excursion to visit the Sahara and ride the Camels. Mr. Rachid also checked my hotel accommodations and prices and advised that I change to something better and more affordable , which I did. What a blessing. I saved tremendously. Leaving me with more to purchase souvenirs, etc. I can’t say enough about his service and my excitement for my next adventure. Thank you my Brother and friend for such a wonderful adventure. Look forward to the next one.

More than a tour it’s more! - We were lucky enough to have Rachid as our guide! We spent more than 3 hours and it didn’t seem like it. He is a wealth of historical information and knowledge about Fes. He took great care of us ( Bastela and Flower). He had just the most personable, funny and patient spirit. He is well spoken in English and he taught us a few Arabic words too. We were able to see the Tannery, Blue Gate, Hotel Medina, The Medina, The pink palace, The University of Al-Karaouine, Old Islamic School, Art de Poterie and Art Gallery Attarine. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Our driver Mohamad was very patient and a very good driver.

Rashid's Walking Tour of Medieval Fes Medina - Rashid gave an excellent tour. Was happy to chat and answer questions, not just reciting a canned script. We visted some very nice craft centers but there is not big pressure to buy things. Highlights are the tannery, the weaving, the metalworking, the restored "camel train hotel" and of course the Islamic architecture of the mosques and schools. Would definitely recommend Rashid's tour.

Fascinating insight into Fes and tge Medina - An excellent guided tour, our guide was waiting for us outside our Riad. And we got to see so many things that we would never have seen on our own, as Fes medina is a maze and really large. We went to the tannery, which was really fascinating and he helped with bargaining for goods in the medina, it was lovely to see the lifestyles of the people who live in this incredible area, and all the different sections, like fabric dyeing, and silk making. It's such a beautiful city and we got to see so many interesting things, our guide was very knowledgeable and the tour was at an excellent pace, stopping for mint tea and pastries was a lovely bonus. Do it, you won't be disappointed. It make our stay in Fes very special
