MUST DO! BOOK IT NOW! - We had an amazing experience on a food tour in Fes, and I can't recommend it enough! Our guide, Fatema was absolutely fantastic—so knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the city's rich culinary traditions. The tour took us through some of the most charming, hidden spots in Fes, where we tasted everything from flavorful street food to traditional Moroccan dishes that you won't find in tourist spots. We got to sample fresh spices, olives, and traditional pastries, all while learning about their history and significance in Moroccan culture. Fatema made sure to explain everything in detail, sharing stories about the origins of the food and how it's prepared. It was a real eye-opener, and the food was simply delicious. The best part was how personal and engaging the tour felt. It wasn’t just about the food; it was about the culture, the people, and the traditions behind every dish. We left with a deeper appreciation for Moroccan cuisine and the vibrant atmosphere of Fes. If you’re in the area, this tour with Fatema is a must-do!

Best tour guide - This tour was incredible. Fatima was a great guide, showing us fantastic places to eat, especially in places we would not normally go by ourselves (unknown things we would not think to ask etc). She also shared her knowledge of history, culture, and how to navigate the Medina. All the food we tried was delicious. Do not eat that day at all, as there is so much to try on the tour. We could not eat the last item on the tour and took it back to our hotel for later. Fatima, thank you for one of our favorite parts of our Morocco trip.

Yummy Fes Food Tour - Our guide Fatima shared thoughtful insights into traditional food, Moroccan culture and Fes history during our 4-hour food tour of the Medina. It’s an educational experience about recipes, ingredients and cooking styles. Each small local restaurant specializes in a Moroccan dish - breads, sweets, soups, treats and more. Portions are plentiful so bring an appetite to this delightful tour in Fes. Ask for Fatima - she knows the Medina and is a joy to spend time. Her communication and knowledge are exceptional. Your tastebuds will thank you.

Fatima is great - Fatima is a great guide, just one of a handful of female tour guides in all of Morocco. Pro tip: book her through her website or Instagram directly and the cost is only $40, just half of the cost if you book through an agency.

Best experience in Fes - The tour was Amazing. Fatima is a great guide, explains not only about the food, but about the culture and history of Fes. Wouldn’t recommend to visit the Medina without her, easy to get lost or not finding the interesting things. Thanks a lot, Fatima!

Mohammad Abdul was very... - Mohammad Abdul was very generous with his time and knowledge and it felt like we ate almost all the street food of Fez, from soup to breads, drinks, sweets, olives and finishing with a delicious camel burger. He also showed us many of Fes’ cultural and religious sites where possible. Get your walking shoes on and prepare for the ride! Five stars!

worst tour we have ever had - Truly the worst tour we have ever had. It started with a terse fella who tour off at a fast pace, and never slowed down for the next few hours. I got a call from another guy who ALSO claimed to be our guide. they argued on the phone and I guess that was cleared up. We tried a couple broths, he guided us to high priced stores where clearly he got a kickback. We never had a meal as stated. We were told that hotel pickup was not part of the tour(even though it was stated it was) so we drove across town to the location stated. Our guide was irritated when I turned down the bread we had tried already that I didn't care for(a stale type bread). The pace was truly fast, and we are a bit younger than some tourists. I think he must have had somewhere to be. it was our only regret of of our time in Morocco. Note, we did let them knw and they really didn't seem to care.
