Fes - We offer pick-up from four different locations: Place Rcif, Bab Boujloud, Place Batha, and the new city near Hotel Barcelo, every day between 7:30 am and 8 am. Our trip begins at 8 am sharp, as we must start early to enjoy the views and stops in the Middle Atlas, plus 7 hours of driving.
Ifrane - Known as “Little Switzerland,” Ifrane is a city of pristine beauty. The terrain becomes even more mountainous as you approach Ifrane.
Azrou Cedar Forest - This is the most famous spot in the city, where the area’s tourist activity is centered. The forest reflects centuries of history and was once home to the famous Gran Cedar Gouraud, the largest ancient cedar in the area.
In this forest, you can find souvenir and gift shops, as well as market stalls selling peanuts. These stalls are popular because of the hundreds of Gibraltar monkeys living in the area. Tourists often spend part of their day playing with them and giving them peanuts as a treat.
Midelt - Known as the city of apples, Midelt’s temperate climate and the nearby Moulouya River create an ideal environment for agriculture. It’s a lovely place to have lunch if you wish. Please note that lunch and drinks are not included.
Fleuve de Ziz - The Ziz River winds through Errachidia, Erfoud, and Rissani, creating a vast oasis. The region is known as Tafilelt, which Moroccans consider the 17th-century birthplace of the current ruling dynasty, the Alaouites.
Tafilelt is also significant in Moroccan history as the site of Sijilmassa, a city built as a port for the trans-Saharan caravan trade in the 8th century, particularly for the gold that enriched successive Moroccan dynasties. Sijilmassa was attacked many times and was eventually destroyed in the 14th century.
Erfoud - Known as the “Gate of the Sahara,” this oasis town is located on the edge of the desert.
Merzouga Desert - After 7 hours of driving, you will arrive at the hotel where you can rest and enjoy tea before embarking on a camel trip or using a 4x4 to reach your camp and enjoy dinner and a luxury camp experience.
It takes another 2 hours to reach Merzouga, where the hotel staff we booked for you will be waiting to escort you to your room. Here, you can store your bags and prepare for the camel trip, which starts at sunset every day. The camel trip lasts 2 hours before you arrive at the tent, where you will have dinner (included) and enjoy the beauty of the desert, the sky, and the stars.
Merzouga - After breakfast at your camp and returning to Merzouga, you will head back to Fez or Marrakech. Please confirm your decision with us at least 12 hours before your trip starts.
Fes - If you choose to end your trip in Fez, you will be fortunate to revisit the same stops you enjoyed at the beginning, and we will drop you off at the locations in Fez mentioned earlier. Lunch is not included.
Marrakech - If you decide to conclude your trip from Merzouga to Marrakech, it will be a one-way trip of 10 hours, with stops only for lunch or bathroom breaks. The trip ends at Place Jamaa el Fna in Marrakech. Lunch and drinks are not included.
