Fes - Middle Atlas Mountains - The Sahara Desert.
Merzouga Desert - Begin your incredible adventure into the Middle Atlas Mountains. Your first stop will be Ifrane. Then, travel through the vast cedar forests near the Berber village of Azrou, known as The Rock in the local Berber dialect, where the famous Barbary apes, actually macaque monkeys, might try to share your lunch in their natural habitat. Continue through the Atlas Mountains, which are said to hold up the sky, navigating through forested peaks, winding mountain streams and springs, and stunning, rugged rock walls. At dusk, your camel will be ready to take you on an unforgettable ninety-minute trek through the shifting desert sands, leading you to a traditional Berber desert camp where you’ll spend the night in a tent, surrounded by towering dunes. A truly unforgettable day.
