Incomplete and frustrating delivery - We participated with the daughter and my sister in a cooking class last October. We had an appointment at the R’cif market to do the shopping with Fatima and Sofiane. Fatima did not speak French and Sofiane took care of the translation. Then on the way to Dar 7 Louyat to get to work, visit the house, its terrace and the kitchen for the cooking class with Meryem, our 2nd pro, who did not speak French either. Sofiane advised us to ask all the questions to encourage exchanges but quickly disappeared.... Complicated communication.... We worked well by reproducing the gestures of these 2 wonderful very professional cooks, encouraging and congratulating us despite the obstacle of language. We prepared chatchouka, zalouk, carrots with spices, bread, lemon chicken tagine and olives. We enjoyed these dishes but without our super chefs stationed in the kitchen. We would have liked to extend and deepen the exchange but our translators had disappeared. Despite many reminders we haven’t received the promised recipes either... it’s a shame and leaves us with an unfinished taste.
