Amazing artisans - art for all ages and skill levels - Amazing class by very skillful artisans! Learning about culture and art of Morocco by physically engaging with it is the best way. We ended up taking home marvelous carvings made by the artists during the class (we had a chance to pre-choose the designs we liked) as well as our own creations. They are very hospitable and patient to their students - highly recommend for all ages and skill levels!

Artistic Escape at Mohammed's: Sculpting, Serenity, and Surprises Await - We delved into the ancient craft of sculpting at Mohammed's, where we observed pros at work and honed our own skills on practice pieces. It felt less like a workshop and more like a casual hangout among friends, surrounded by captivating visuals – from intricate tiles to scenic views and whimsical doodles left by past visitors. As we immersed ourselves in our creations, even the kids were engrossed for hours. With the freedom to take breaks and explore the eclectic house, we felt both inspired and proud of our finished pieces, all while marveling at the expertise of the artisans.

So much fun learning to sculpt plaster - Mohamed is a true artist and an awesome person. What a wonderful experience learning such a beautiful part of Moroccan culture. First he makes you feel very welcome in his home before showing you how to sculpt the plaster. Once you get started it quickly becomes very meditative as you sculpt out the initial design template, but them add your own touch. I was nervous before I arrived as I have never sculpted plaster, but by the end of the experience I was surprised how quickly I got comfortable doing it. It was so much fun and you even get to take home a beautiful piece of plater sculpture that Mohamed creates for you based on the design you choose. One of the best experiences I have done and glad I found it on TripAdvisor.
