- Laghdir - Olive groves and olive oil: As you get closer to Chefchaouen, you will pass through the olive groves after the town of Laghdir. You will see many places selling olive oil. Feel free to ask your driver to stop if you would like to purchase some freshly-pressed olive oil.
- Chefchaouen - Chefchaouen, the beautiful Blue City, is known for its traditional buildings. Here you can enjoy a walk to explore the white and blue painted walls of the medina and the markets that offer unique local handicrafts. Another popular spot is the casbah in the center of the old town with its lush gardens. There is a museum that’s well worth a visit, with an impressive collection of ancient weapons, historic photographs of the ancient city, and valuable textiles. Chefchaouen is also a fantastic destination for photography with its wonderful views of the Rif Mountains. You will have time for lunch in a local restaurant, which you can pick yourself or ask your guide for a recommendation.
- Ras El Maa Waterfall - From the city center, it is a short walk to the scenic Ras El Maa Waterfall. The waterfall is located right at the end of a city street. There you will see local women who bring their wool carpets to wash under the strong water pressure of the falls. You will also see vendors squeezing fresh orange juice, if you would like to have a refreshing treat. You can also take a fairly strenuous climb up the hill to a small mosque with spectacular panoramic views of the Blue City.
- Fes - Once you are ready to leave the Blue City, your driver will meet you at an appointed spot and take you back to your accommodation in Fes.

On this private tour, you will have your own driver who speaks your language and is willing to make stops along the way for chances to take photos, enjoy the local scenery, and even buy fresh olive oil along the way. Once you arrive in Chefchaouen, if you would like, we can arrange for a local person to show you the highlights of the city and and also make restaurant recommendations (for a reasonable extra charge). You will have four hours to enjoy a lunch (on your own) and then stroll the lovely blue lanes of ‘Chaouen, as the locals call it. You will also have a chance to tour the famous salted goat cheese factory and taste their wonderful product, called ‘jben’. After you have enjoyed a refreshing four hours in this remarkable city, the driver will meet you for the return drive to Fez in the late afternoon.
