A fantastic day with Mohammed - Mohammed exceeded our expectations. It seemed like he knew most of the people we passed inside the old Medina. In the afternoon we visited the Jewish Quarter and beyond. Mohammed’s knowledge was terrific, he respectfully connected us with those in the co-operatives, he was patient, and he made the most useful suggestions. We would have no hesitation in recommending Mohammed as a tour guide. ‘The Mayor of Fes’ wouldn’t be far off being an apt nickname. Thank you Mohammed for being a highlight of our trip to Morocco.

Local guide - exceeded all expectations.. - Mohammed was just the best and ensured that my husband and I were so well informed about Fes. We had no understanding of how the city ‘worked’ and after a day with Mohammed both on foot and by car, we feel that we really can see how it has evolved. Some great experiences during the day - we really appreciated the authentic coffee stop, the work of the collective and are in awe of the skilful craftsmanship we saw today. Thank you Mayor Mohammed - you seemed to know everyone and it was a great experience for our first day in Fes.

Amazing Experience 10/10 - Mohammad was great. He took us on a private tour around Old Medina. Mohammad was born and raised in Fez so he knows the city well and you will see that many of the locals know him as well. As we walked the labyrinth of the old town it felt as if we were walking with a celebrity. Mohammad will take you to many beautiful shops where the vendors will treat you with respect and kindness even if you do not purchase anything. Mohammad is also very knowledgeable of the history of Fez so the tour was educational too. We stayed in the Fez Marriott Jnan Palace and Mohammad picked us up and dropped us back off after the tour. We highly recommend him and appreciate his kindness.

Easy-going and Knowledgeable! - Mohamed is an extremely easy-going and knowledgeable guide for Fes. He told us all about the history of the city, the complexity of the more than 9000 streets, and all of the important sites. He seems to know almost everyone on the streets! Mohamed did not rush us in any way, did not rush us through any of the places we visited, and importantly, was able to prevent us from being accosted by non official guides that appear around the streets and stores.

Fez walking tour - We had a great tour with Mohamed, learned a lot about Fés, visited many historical sites, little handcraft workshops. Everyone is very friendly and not pushy. Highly recommended to book a tour, as Google maps is not very helpful in the medina, and also you'll learn a lot about this beautiful city.

Best Son of Fez - Muhamed is a son of Fez and like the city he is heartwarming and funny! Going through the busy streets, every now and then, he stops to greet a friendly face and you feel like the city is a big family and you are a part of it. No question gets unanswered and if by any chance you manage to find a trickier topic Muhamed will make sure to circle it with an intelligent and funny comment. I know “Best Fez Guide” sounds a lot but I challenge anyone to find a better one…
