I have had a deep tissue massage with this incredibly skilled lady from Bali. She has helped me feel so much better and relaxed all my muscles. I discovered this beautiful spa by chance and visit them year after year. Why ? Because they are simply the best ! 😊 You are treated like an Ottoman Queen from the moment you step inside until you leave. The team are very passionate about what they do and highly skilled. Their aim is to make you feel totally relaxed, rejuvenated and happy. KOMANG has helped me so much with my massages and knew exactly what to do in terms of where and how the massage should be done. Not what I expected - I never write reviews but I thought it was his time was needed. I went to this place for the first time after carefully reading all The reviews. I booked through the website 60 minute massage late in the afternoon. When I arrived the lady in reception had no idea, despite me giving my name, about my booking. Neither name, or time, or length of the session. With very little introduction or explanation about the session, I am Told I have to fill a form with my details and then walked into a room with lockers to get ready . I had to walk with a towel wrapped Around across the salon, full of man directly staring at you, plus 2/3 ladies who where checking their phones. As I walked into the room a male in their early 30’s walks behind me and turns to be the therapist. No previous introduction, no hello, no question if I was ok with a male therapist doing a massage being almost naked . Despite my nervousness , I thought this must be standard practice .. whilst in the session, felt uncomfortable with the way he gave me the massage, once again .. I thought this was western ignorance for not understanding the dynamic of the massage roomS in turkey. The massage itself for good but the rest, client service, courtesy, communication and the lack of awareness of cultural relativism was shocking. I’ve said to the last in reception that I was expecting to be asked if I was ok with a male, but I never got asked and he ‘ was the next in line’. I then asked a friend if this was Standard practice in the area.. And he said ‘ no way’.. and frankly I felt it wasn’t . I won’t be going back and I don’t recommend unless your are local and you are ok with this practices.
