• Fethiye - The tour begins with a hotel pick-up around 08:30 (the exact time may vary based on your hotel’s location) and we head towards Kalkan, arriving in approximately 1.5 hours.
• Kalkan - Our first stop after departing Fethiye is Kalkan, where we pause for about 15 minutes, offering a chance to capture stunning photographs.

Kalkan is a significant tourist spot on the Mediterranean coast, featuring historical sites like Tlos and Kekova, as well as beautiful beaches such as Patara Beach and Kaputaş Beach.

Kalkan is a historic fishing town and the only safe harbor between Kaş and Fethiye. It is renowned for its white-washed houses cascading to the sea and vibrant bougainvilleas, enjoying an average of 300 sunny days annually. In Turkish, “Kalkan” means either shield or turbot, reflecting its fishing heritage.

Until the early 1920s, the town was predominantly inhabited by Greeks and was known as Kalamaki. Although administratively part of Antalya province, Kalkan is more economically and transportationally linked to Fethiye.

• Kas - Following a brief stop in Kalkan, we proceed to Kaş, arriving after about 50 minutes. Here, you can explore the city and shop, with a lunch break of approximately 1 hour in Kaş.
• Kaputas Beach - Post Kaş visit, we reach the highlight of our day, Kaputaş Beach, where you can enjoy a 45-minute swimming break.

Purchasing an umbrella and sunbed on the beach is optional. You may lay your towel on the sand and sunbathe. The cost for one umbrella and two sunbeds is around 10€.

• Patara Beach - Our second swimming stop is Patara Beach, near the ancient city of Patara, and one of the region’s largest beaches.

Buying an umbrella and sunbed is not required. You can sunbathe on your towel. The price for one umbrella and two sunbeds is about 10€.

Patara Beach is longer than nearby beaches, stretching 18 km with a depth reaching 200-300 meters in places. The sand is fine, and the sea is shallow, making it ideal for windsurfing due to its consistent wind. Patara Beach is protected as it is a nesting site for sea turtles (Caretta caretta).

Barriers have been erected to prevent wind-blown sand dunes from reaching the ancient city from Patara Beach.

• Patara Antik Kenti - During the Patara Beach swimming break, guests can independently visit the ancient city of Patara by paying approximately 15€ at the ticket office. Our guide will provide details on the meeting time and location for the bus.

Patara is a Lycian city near Kalkan in the Kaş district of Antalya and was the Lycian League’s capital. Meetings of the Lycian League were held in the city’s council building.

It is among the cities besieged by Alexander. During the Roman era, Patara was a crucial city and the capital of the Lycian-Pamphilian states. Patara’s harbor was vital for grain storage and transport, housing one of the three major grain storages (Granarium) in the Eastern Mediterranean. The city continued to thrive during the Byzantine period and held significance for Christians. It is believed that Saint Nicholas, known as Santa Claus, hailed from Patara.

• Fethiye - As the day concludes, we return to your hotel in Fethiye, arriving around 18:30-19:00.
