Great way to learn more about St Andrews - Great tour by Kristin (?), a history major at St. Andrews. She was very knowledgeable about the history of St Andrews and golf, and provided insightful information on the relationship of the town to the Reformation. Definitely recommend taking this tour to learn more about St Andrews. Very enjoyable!

Informative and fun! - Verity was an incredible guide! Very knowledgeable and witty. We enjoyed the tour with her. She inserted her own little tales and experiences as a graduate of St. Andrews University, providing a unique perspective on some of the places we visited.

A fantastic tour just the right length. - A great little tour of St Andrews with Verity. Only us and one other couple, so a very personal tour. Nearly ended up on the other tour of the golf courses, so make sure they know which tour you want! Verity was very knowledgeable, particularly as she was an alumni of St Andrews. We felt we learnt a lot about the town and the reformation! Would certainly recommend the tour as an introduction to the city.

Fun way to explore the city - We had a nice time seeing all the highlights of the city during the tour. Our guide was nice! Would recommend doing the tour as it's not too long and leaves you with enough time to explore on your own.

Cate is the best!!!!!!!! BOOK CATE IF YOU CAN - WOW Cate, my guide, was worth x100 the price of this tour. She was a historian with such an elaborate knowledge of many sides of this town when it comes to sports, art, academia, history, religion etc. And so generous with her time and her knowledge of such a complex and rich cultural history. She is a true gem and made my trip 10 times better. Request her if possible because JUST WOW.

Excellent overview of St. Andrew’s! - Kirsten was a St Andrews student and was fantastic! She knew her stuff and did not make up an answer if she did not know it (that was rare). It was the right balance between history and current day! I would highly recommend her and this tour!

Learn to project your voice! - The guide was friendly, however the entire time she spoke in a normal quiet conversational voice to a group of about 16 people. When she wanted to be dramatic, she dropped her voice to almost a whisper… regardless of traffic and other noises. People were bent over trying to get a piece of what she was saying. Another guide was 20 feet away, and we could hear him clearly over her. We probably picked up maybe 30% of what she said.
