Excellent tour - informative and entertaining - What a great tour! The guide was incredibly knowledgeable, but also injected the whole tour with humour and interesting tales from his experience as a professional caddie. It covered from the early development of the game, from "kolf" through to modern times and rules. It also covered the development of the course at St Andrews through the ages, as well as general history of the town itself, and particularly the buildings around the course. The tour finished at the Jigger Inn which was a welcome respite from the cold wind and where we had a very tasty lunch! If you're looking for a tour and have any interest in golf at all, even just as a spectator, then this tour is guaranteed to entertain.

Exceeded expectations - Richard is a veritable walking book of the history of St Andrew’s. He knows the golf game like the back of his hand but he is a fascinating historian of the city itself. Thank you again

Learn all things golf. - What better way to learn the history of golf than at its birthplace. Knowledgeable insight into all things golf as well as surrounding area. On a Sunday you can walk the Old Course as it’s closed. Golfing here (at any of the 7 St. Andrew’s courses) is a once in a lifetime treat for those that travel to take in all that is the holy grail for golfers. Take the tour to make it a learning experience in addition to a round (if you can afford it).

Ok, not the best - Honestly it was not what we had expected. We thought we would see a lot more of the course. The areas we went were open to the public, so we could have done it on our own.
