Named after the prophet Ilias, who is said to have lived there, the mountain features a chapel dedicated to him at its summit. Located in the island’s center, Profitis Ilias offers panoramic views and is a popular hiking destination. At the summit, visitors can find the chapel and a small restaurant with a scenic view.
