We will take you through the winery and explain the wine production process, detailing each wine in the tasting!
• Gaia Winery - Situated on the island’s east side, between Kamari and Monolithos hamlets, this winery is housed in an industrial stone building that was originally a tomato factory from the early 1900s until the 1970s. It has since been converted into a state-of-the-art winery with modern equipment and facilities that ensure high-quality wine production. Wine tasting will take place on the beach!
• Anhydrous Winery - Located in Fira, Anhydrous Winery is one of Santorini’s notable wineries. Owned by Apostolos Mountrichas, one of the island’s new winemakers, the name “Anhydrous” means “without water,” reflecting the island’s terrain. The wine tasting area is amphitheatric, as it used to be an open-air cinema!
• Art Space - Art Space Winery Museum Art Gallery is a distinctive art center set within the pumice rock-carved chambers of an old winery in Exo Gonia, Santorini. Since 1999, it has served as a welcoming retreat for Greek and international artists who share a passion for creativity.
• Estate Argyros - Founded in 1903, Estate Argyros is the largest private vineyard owner in Santorini, with over 120 hectares of land. The Argyros family has been involved in wine production for generations, making it a four-generation-long investment.
• Gavalas Winery - One of the oldest wineries in Santorini, Gavalas Family Winery is located in the traditional village of Megalochori. The family’s mission is to showcase the unique characteristics of Santorini’s terroir. The fourth-generation winemaker is George Gavalas, and his son Vagelis represents the fifth generation.
• Venetsanos Winery - Perched above the port of Athinios with stunning views of the Santorini caldera, Venetsanos Winery was designed by the innovative George Venetsanos in 1947 and began operations in 1949 as the island’s first industrial winery.
