Memorable ride in Antiguan countryside ending up on beautiful beach - Wonderful ride on very well behaved horses. Took us through beautiful countryside high up into hills for amazing views over coastline . Might not be suitable for novice riders as though only at a walking pace the descent afterwards very steep which might be a bit alarming for some.

Great value! Lots of fun! - I can’t say enough good things about this excursion. The guys were friendly and very helpful. The horses were calm and followed our commands. You really didn’t have to direct them much as they knew the way to go. This excursion also includes a ride up to one of the highest points of the island. We were able to get some great pictures both on and off the horses. And then we traveled back down for a short ride on the beach. Well worth the price. We would definitely do it again.

Worth it!! Views from the mountain and the beach - My husband and I had great tour! The views were incredible starting from the mountain tops riding down to the beach. The staff was very friendly, it was a very relaxed tour overall. At the top of the mountain they let us get off and take pictures. The pickup/drop off was easy from the hotel and the barn itself was small and by the side of the road. Our tour had 2 other couples and the horses were very well behaved except for some snags of grass😊 the tour itself went for about an hour and half. 10/10 would recommend!

Very nice ride and view! Small horses. - Very nice long tour. Absolutely beautiful view and the horses were extremely well trained and easy to ride. (I used to own horses) My only complaint is that one horse had an ear full of ticks and some had small girth sores. However actually all seemed very healthy otherwise. They didn’t spook at anything and the folks caring for them did express concern for the horses. They are small, fyi, and a 200-pound man or person would be quite a burden for the smallest ones.

Great fun scenic ride. - The ride takes you up to a great view point on very well behaved horses and our knowledgeable guide Dimple pointed out lots of interesting facts. We then walked down to Hawksbill Bay and splashed in the sea. A lovely way to see the countryside of Antigua away from the madding crowd. A super way to spend a couple of hours.

ee - Suitable for beginners. Rather unsuitable for experienced riders. Horses could be in better condition.

Pick up never happened yet confirmed - Booked and paid for this for New Year’s Eve thinking it would be a nice thing to do, had the email confirming pick up was from the hotel, I waited 20 mins then called the company who confirmed they didn’t pick up from my hotel and I should get a taxi 40 mins across the island which of course I didn’t do and being a solo female traveller! I was so gutted, they told me they’d refund it, haven’t had it yet but it’s only been 24 hours!

The worst experience possible! - I've never had a more unprofessional and scary experience for my family! We arrived in the cruise port and went to the pick up location for the shuttle. From there everything went very wrong. Arrived at the very unprofessional and delapidated old shack on the side of road. Man approached the vehicle with no shirt on. Spoke to driver, let him know that we didn't have horses for us and we had to wait at least an hour. They said they would take us to beach to wait, which they did, however they didn't say we would be left there for almost an hour and a half and we couldn't sit on beach chairs, no bathrooms or other facilities. OK, so that's bad enough, but that wasn't the end of it. When we finally did get to ride, it was very unsafe! No helmets, nobody adjusted the stirrups, guide was running the horses up a paved roadway with traffic. In fact, vehicles on the "trail" which was a road most of the time, was very dangerious! Then finally at the end of it all when we all just wanted to get off the horse and thank the LORD we made it without getting injurred, then we were told the shuttle wasn't coming to get us, and we had to wait over at what I can only describe as a old rusted out shack of a building that they called "the bar". As a family, we have never felt more unsafe. After about 20 minutes, they finally did have a guy take us in his private vehicle back to the cruise port! Nice guy, but not at all comfortable with the situation that these folks put my family in. DO NOT TAKE THIS TRIP!
