Nice secluded hot springs experience - An interesting location nestled among the hot springs near Fludir in Iceland's Golden Circle.
Large pool with not too many people so it didn't feel crowded. The temperature was perfect (38-40C) with lots of areas to relax and feel secluded.
Surrounded by hot springs (too hot to touch) with a walk way through to see the various bubbling pots and pools.
Well stocked shop for snacks and drinks and clean changing rooms and showers with lockers.

Secret lagoon was a very... - Secret lagoon was a very nice, authentic feeling lagoon that offered a football-sized pool of about 100F, with areas of warm and cold. Hot springs nearby that you can walk around to look at, and changing rooms with lockers, showers, hairdryers, etc.
Very simple and relaxing. Only thing that might throw people off is that there is a lot of algae around the sides, which I found entertaining but other people may not like the texture of. Otherwise—stick to the middle. No algae there!

A great experience - Booked online in case it was too busy to get in. We found it a really relaxing experience. It was interesting to walk around the site first and see the bubbling pools.
Beware at certain points at the sides of the pool where the water comes in scalding hot.

Beautiful - Lovely relaxing trip out, we booked 5pm but were running late, we contacted on route and were told not to worry, lovely customer service. On arrival parking is easy and booking in not a problem. You are required to shower naked before entering and the changing rooms are open areas not cubicles. The lagoon was beautiful and being there for sunset was even better and would recommend this slot, around the lagoon are some hot springs which are a brilliant added touch to the experience. We had 3 kids with us who all had a great time although sometimes were a bit hot, so were able to sit on the steps without a problem and dip in and out - our 6 year old struggled the most with this, personally I wouldn’t take children much younger than that for the heat aspect. A really calm environment not over crowded at all, clean and enjoyable experience

Lovely and quiet - We had a fantastic time at the Secret Lagoon! It was a pleasant walk from our hotel. The staff was lovely, the facilities were nice, and I really liked the standing hair dryers in the locker room. I also appreciated the swimsuit dryer. I would have liked something a bit better than the pool noodles that were provided, but that was a minor issue.
Overall, I’m so glad we went to the Secret Lagoon because it was quiet and not crowded. Oh, and my skin felt incredibly soft after soaking in the lagoon!

Not what I expected - The hot spring was alot smaller than it appeared in the information. Water was fine, not to hot. There were to many people in close proximity.

Deceptive Business and Marketing Practices - Marina Travel Review
The company practices deceptive business and marketing practices. They are advertising on Viator their Secret Lagoon Admission tickets as a tour. I’m fact, Viator is normally a middle man used to book tours. Marina Travel advertises on Viator as having a “ Meeting and Pick up” place which is very confusing and makes one think that at least transportation to and from the lagoon is offered. Instead of at least putting the “Secret Lagoon” as the meeting place, Marina Travel puts the actual address of the lagoon which to us tourists doesn’t let us know clearly and right away that we are meeting at the lagoon. Marina travel did not send my ticket until a couple of days before my “fake” tour. I tried to download the tickets but all of their links kept taking me in a loop and not to a ticket. I emailed Marina Travel and they only then attached my ticket to their reply email one day before the “tour”. So I had less than 24 hours to realize that they did not provide transportation to and from the venue and that it would cost over $400 just to get to and from the lagoon!! I then emailed them right away to cancel, but they were not apologetic or understanding at all. They admitted no blame whatsoever and even lied about emailing my ticket on July 7th. They would not even offer a partial refund. Please consumer be very careful using this company for your travel experiences if you still end up using them.
