Experience of a Lifetime - The facility is well organized and really a must do while in Iceland. Pro tip: as you leave the locker room, use the circular tubes to store towel and shoes. Also the facility allows children and requires flotation devices and does have them available for free use.

Very nice experience - Unusual and peculiar activity. For about 30€ you access this hot water pool with volcanic sand bottom. The changing rooms have showers with washing products and lockers. The water temperature is around 40 degrees

Nice experience - Very typical of Iceland, very pleasant time in 39 degree water while it is -12 outside. Shared shower and dressing room but not mixed. In the evening after a day hike it’s just divine

The Oldest Icelandic Pool - Absolutely amazing experience to swim in hot water when the outside temperature is -12 degrees Centigrade. During swim sometimes icicles appear on your hear. Great place. Highly recommended.

What a great experience! - Very nice, especially since from the attendance curve we chose to come at 11am until 1pm so few people. The shower areas are spacious and very clean, the seating area bar is large so that one is quiet. The lagoon is very large and clean and is constantly monitored by a lifeguard who does not hesitate to call to order especially those who run on the edge.

Wonderful experience - We felt very relaxed after leaving this natural spa. You can walk in the cold around the pool to get the hot and cold therapeutic effect and we looked more hydrated and young at the end. The locker rooms were a warm space to shower and hold our dry clothes. We had a few snacks at the end of our stay and the staff were very friendly and helpful:)

The Best Secret Lagoon! - The Secret Lagoon was an absolutely incredible experience! The lagoon was off the main roadway and perfectly placed in a secure and private location. The views from the lagoon were breathtaking. The facilities were well kept, clean, and easily accessible for all needs. Additionally, there was plenty of space in the lagoon to move about and it never felt overcrowded or uncomfortable. Highly recommend this secret place!

Great place, choose your visiting time wisely - Really really nice place to visit for a good hot soak in nature. Watch out for tour groups, though. When we arrived we saw in the parking lot already 4 tourist buses, and braced for the amount of people that were going to be there. Of course, it is expected, especially in a touristic spot, to have plenty of people around. The pool was filled with teenage - early adult aged people, who were in groups of 20 in a circle in the pool, making a lot of noise and throwing things around (notably, the lifeguard did tell them to stop that). We came at 11am, trying to anticipate that groups would come in after lunch, but that wasn’t the case. The changing rooms were also full to the brim; we didn’t get to feel the “calmness” of the Lagoon, nor did we really have space to be in the pool which is rather large in size, due to these groups of people which were having a lot of fun - nothing wrong in that :) But I would advise if you plan to go to try to choose an hour (perhaps lunch time? as all groups left by 12.30pm to their buses to head over for lunch someplace else), otherwise there is no chance you will be able to truly enjoy a quiet and calm atmosphere.
