Great ride. Great service. Great views. Horrible audible. - We struggled with the constant barrage of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons over the sound system. The sound fidelity is terrible and especially with music. Invest in sound abating headphones and drop the music. Silence between remarks is fine.

Good overview. Should do on the first day. - Wish I would have gotten off at Stop 12. That was the best. Beautiful view of the city! Even had someone playing beautiful music.

Worth doing. Not perfect. But still worth it. - Ignore the whinging reviews - the tour is great but … there are things to be aware of. The commentary is naff in the extreme and often out of synch with where you are. The buses sometimes don’t come at the time expected. The tour doesn’t go into the middle of the city (for obvious reasons). BUT if you want to get a wider sense of the city. If you want to get views from amazing vantage points. If you want to have a pause amongst the mayhem. Worth doing!

Informative - Choices of getting off when wanted. Would have preferred a live person to speak to instead of the ear phone information. Have trouble using the ear phones so don't catch all the info.

HOHO experience in Florence, Italy. - Ride thru historic area. Most of the scenery was covered by vegetation and not visible from the bus. The bus went by faster than on other places we went.

Not worth it - The tour offers two routes: the blue, which basically covers the city center, and the red, which goes into its periphery and reaches the neighboring town of Fiésole. The frequency of the first is about 30' and the second of an hour, but it is not always fulfilled. Upon arriving in Fiésole, the bus staff said we would stop 15' to briefly tour the area of the square, but took half an hour and closed it, with the passengers in the sunbeam in the street. Audio guide information is limited. Little explains about the lush history of the city and does not mention points of interest such as the Pizzi Palace and the Boboli Gardens. The only thing the tour brings is that it leads to an excellent panoramic point. For the rest it is not worth it: Florence is well travelled on foot.

The worst! - The worst! No bus stop to start at when we contacted viator they sent us a map! We stood at a corner and no bus came. Called viator again, no help and no refund. This is not like New York, Boston or even London’s hop on hop off. If I could give this tour less then a one star I would and I would give VIATOR less then one star for crappy customer service. This is our 10 tour on this vacation alone, you would think they would have good customer service.

Don’t waste your time or money. - They don’t fill the bus at stops, making you wait really long times. We waited in line for an hour to get on a bus. The lady in charge was very rude. This also doesn’t take away you close to the good sites.

Waste of time - Terrible. We were just sitting there waiting and it was so hot. I got off and ordered an ice cream in a dish, as I went to get back on, they told me I couldn’t with the ice cream so I reluctantly said OK and went to throw it away and they left without me. When I got on the bus that came next people were sitting on the bus eating and drinking. this bus had no working so we were driving around and couldn’t hear anything. When the audio did work, it didn’t really work. We couldn’t hear it and it wasn’t caught up to where we were because it wasn’t coinciding with the we were seeing. It was useless. I asked for my money back and they said no.

Good luck getting on. - I would definitely miss this one out unless you’re near stop 1. My husband and I waited hours but no one would get off so there were no seats available. I’m booked again tomorrow but not wasting precious time waiting for a bus. Waiting to hear back from company on a refund. Duh!
