Highlights
  • Florence - We’ll pick you up from your accommodation in Florence at 9:30 am. Our driver will typically arrive at your address by 9:15 am. The drive to the first winery will take around 50 minutes.

  • Fattoria di Luiano - Luiano has been producing wine and olive oil since the 9th century. The estate has been owned by notable Florentine families, including the Strozzi. In 1959, the Palombo family took over the business, shifting from mixed agriculture to focus solely on vine cultivation, achieving top-quality wine. The Sangiovese grape is the predominant variety grown here. The estate’s long winemaking tradition is evidenced by ancient cellars from the Renaissance. You’ll tour the property, vineyard, and wine cellars where vinification occurs and wines are showcased. Afterward, enjoy a Chianti-based wine tasting with a scenic view.

  • Savignola Paolina - Savignola is a boutique winery in the heart of Chianti Classico since 1780, with 5 hectares of vineyards and an annual production of about 22,000 bottles. The name Savignola has Etruscan origins and was considered a Christian settlement built around the first half of the 17th century. Known for its all-female history, it is one of the area’s historic companies, thanks to Paolina, the first woman to bottle her Riserva in a Bordeaux-style bottle, bringing innovation to Chianti Classico’s tradition. The estate’s ancient barrel cellar dates back to the 1500s, blending tradition and innovation in wine production. The terroir consists of deep clay and chalky soil, requiring rigorous work to create ideal conditions for rich, intense, and long-lived wines.

  • Tenuta LATERRA - The final winery of the day has a vibrant history. This family-run winery began production in 2012, reflected in the lively character of its young wines. However, the estate’s history dates back to the late 1800s when founder Gualtiero purchased the first vineyards in Mercatale Val di Pesa. After his death, one of his sons brought a new vision, planting new vineyards, acquiring more land, and purchasing a 15th-century villa that became the property’s centerpiece.

The estate is in the Chianti Classico Fiorentino area and includes vineyards, olive groves, and forests. The grape varieties are typical of the region, such as Sangiovese, Colorino, and Canaiolo, as well as international varieties like Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine cellars from the 1400s were renovated for modern winemaking needs. Additionally, an 18th-century barn was restructured to serve as a wine cellar.

This is Italy - This was the most amazing part of our whole trip to Italy. We went to Venice, Florence and Rome, but this is the memory that will last a lifetime. Angel was beyond incredible. You could feel the love he has for wine. He will take you to the most amazing wineries and introduce you to the best people. If you like wine at all this is the must do tour. We will be back and this is what we are going to book every day.

Best Birthday Ever! - Paola and Daria were so welcoming! They both were very knowledgeable of the wine and held a great conversation. I took my mother for her 60th birthday and they made sure to make it special. All three wineries were unique and had delicious wine and olive oil. The lunch was better than expected and kept us full. We even got to try red wine gelato! The views were straight out of a movie. Just how you imagine Florence/Tuscany. We highly recommend this tour. You will not be disappointed!

A must do! Ask for Fabio - Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to experience the Tuscany wine country to it’s fullest. Our guide, Fabio, was an absolute pleasure. It was VIP service from start to finish. The level of service and overall detail that went into the full day does not go unnoticed. Thank you for the memorial time!

The highlight of our entire Honeymoon! Angel is amazing and still talk about this day 2 years later. - Angel was an AMAZING guide that made the tour so much fun, while providing endless amounts of information. Would recommend this to anyone going to Florence, or visiting near there. My husband and I booked this private tour with very little knowledge of wine and left with a new appreciation of wine, especially that comes from the Chianti region. We talk all the time about doing this same thing again, if and when we travel back to Florence!

Making a Dreary Day Shine! - An unusually cloudy, cool, and windy day was made very warm and memorable by Angel and the host wineries. The countryside's beauty and outstanding wineries spoke for themselves, but Angel enhanced the experience with his friendly sharing of knowledge and personal experiences. Many thanks to Angel and the wineries for a day we will remember fondly. We will definitely book another tour with Angel if the opportunity presents itself - maybe the sun will make an appearance next time (not that it's needed).

Wonderful experience - Fabio was terrific! We learned a lot and had so much fun the whole day. All three vineyards were unique, educational, & beautiful in their own ways. We’ve gotten most of the wine, olive oil, and vinegar we shipped but are still waiting on some. Just be prepared to receive that a couple months later.
