Excellent Experience with Wonderful Tour Guide - Our tour guide was well spoken, engaging, professional and knowledgeable. It was a huge advantage to spend time with her to learn about the Duomo and then to enjoy the experience of climbing the dome. If you want to visit the Duomo, this “Skip the Line” tour is definitely the way to go!!!

First tour with all ages - We were the first tour of the day and were in the church alone. Lovely! The guided tour itself was only 30 min but very informative! Then the climb after was so fun. My son in law carried his 1 yr old in a sling and my son carried the 2 yr old up and down. We all made it including my pregnant daughter. We were ages 1-70 yrs old.

Highly recommend - We had a great experience with this tour. I was with my husband and 11 year old daughter. We booked an early tour at 10:00 and were the first group in the Duomo. It was quiet without all the other tours happening at that time and we had the place to ourselves which seems unheard of. The tour guide was informative and interesting. The climb to the top challenging but worth it.

Great Duomo Tour and Dome climb - The tour and guide were great. The guide was very knowledgeable and personable. The skip the line tour allowed us to avoid the large crowd during high season with very long lines. The view at the top of the dome was remarkable! I highly recommend this tour.

Stairway to heaven - Just amazing but watch out there is a lot of stairs to get to the top. This will be your weekly workout. Our tour guide was super knowledgeable, she had prepared many photos and printouts to show and explain how the whole Basilica came about. The tour starts early for a reason, you want to be there before the crowds. Once you reach the Duomo skywalk it is all worth it. The views and the grand nature of everything. Wow!

Beautiful experience - Beautiful structure and info was valuable. The tour host spoke a bit low so it was difficult to hear everything. Ker knowledge was great, however. The climb to the dome was epic’

Tour was ok, climb was good. - Tour guide was hard to hear and difficult to understand (heavy accent) - we did not get much out of the tour besides what we saw as we walked through the basilica. Luckily a family member took a different walking tour (no climb) through the same tour company which provided headsets and a clear speaking guide. It is recommended to get a tour with headsets as we were surprised this tour did not provide headsets. The climb was as expected with a beautiful view of the top of the dome (inside) and of the City outside at the top.

Conclusion: OK for a drink and the view, otherwise: definitely not! - The view is very nice, which is why it gets a star. The service is terrible, although there are several waiters standing around, no one comes. They seem annoyed, are unfriendly, "throw" the cutlery on the table. The drinks came after the starter. The tartare looked greasy, inedible. The pasta was clearly from a convenience bag and only lukewarm. And at the end they add 10% to the bill. What for?? And why is this not mentioned anywhere?
In conclusion: OK for a drink and the view, otherwise: just don't!!
