Best Hop on Hop Off option - Big Bus Hop on and Hop Off was less crowded than the other buses and it was climate controlled, which was very nice in December with windows on the top floor to retain heat. The provided us with free earbuds for the audio guide, which had several language selections, including English. There were 8 stops for the Red Line, including the train station (nice if you have a train ticket leaving after 10am and your hotel is near a stop), the Coliseum, the Spanish Steps, and the Vatican City. Enjoyable trip just don't hop off - We enjoyed this tour but decided not to hop on or off so just stayed on and enjoyed the scenery and commentary which was fine. Amazing scenery and lovely way to spend an hour. Book online and download code as much cheaper.

Very poor experience - This was very disappointing. Very poorly signposted and only one bus on the route which took one hour ten minutes. I would have loved to. Have hopped off, but the wait would have been one hour and ten minutes! The tour was ok and did go to places i probably wouldn't have seen

Check your dates - Bought a two day ticket in the Ho-Ho bus. The plan was as to see a few places on the out skirts of Florence. Waiting for the red line bus at 11:25 which never showed up. Finally realized that only the blue line was running. Winter hours. Was not happy.

Disappointed - Views from Piazza Michaelangelo was amazing but wish I’d realised there was only 1 bus operating. Hopped off thinking I’d hop on the next one but waited for over an hour. So really was just a bus trip around the city - no hop on hop off 😩

Awful Experience - We could never find the bus stops nor did we see any buses anywhere. We called and were told where to go and still never could find busses or stops. Since we never could find it we were not able to take the tour nor get our money back. I would NOT recommend this tour. We were traveling with a group of 10 people.

Scandalous! - SCAM! Very difficult to find stops which for some are not even signposted, useless interactive site map, VERY unpleasant personal. We had been looking for a stop for a while, we see in the distance a red bus stop, we go there to take the next one. The next one arrives and we were 30 meters away, he did not want to stop despite our big signs (I specify that we were with 3 grandmothers of 70 years and a child so difficult to run). We had to take the city bus to Piazza Michelangelo. Once our visit is made, the bus arrives: again forced to shout for it to stop, and apparently this has no more to the driver, fills it! Once well settled, we try to enjoy ... but not absolutely nothing to do with the section we did. And there the fatal blow: after 4 stops, the driver asks us to get off because his day is over!!!!! It's 6:00... it's supposed to close at 6:30... we'll meet at the opposite end of the street from where we were supposed to go, always with grandpa and grandma and my son. Forced again to take a city bus! (2× 11.90€) It's really outrageous. The driver didn't want to know anything and kicked us all out (other unhappy families with us). Result 7x23€ for 30 min journey on the periph!!!!! Escape, Florence is very well done on foot or by city bus.
