First time Texan in Florence - First time to Florence-and I read all the reviews to select this tour. Our experience was perfect. Babylon Tours sent a photo of where to meet along with meeting points. (This was very helpful as all tourists are wondering “am I in the right spot?) Our tour guide, Laura showed up promptly at 8:50 & we were off. Laura was very knowledgeable about the art & also exceptionally personable, which made for a wonderful walking tour of Florence. She even helped me plot a walking course back to the train station so I could stop at a wine window. 🍷 I was very happy with this tour.

Florence with Annette - 10/10! - Our guide, Annette was so knowledgeable and friendly - she helped to significantly enhance the experience, especially as a novice to Renaissance art, she was able to help me see and appreciate all the most special aspects of the artwork and the city of Florence. She helped us see new aspects of the architecture and it’s history along with the Medici family influence. Amazing experience, highly recommend!

Amazing Annette - My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful time with our tour guide, Annette, who was incredibly knowledgeable, patient (we had so many questions), and generous with her time. She masterfully curated our visits to the Academy and Uffizi, and pointed out so many things during our walk through Florence. Annette’s depth of knowledge was astounding, and she was so kind and friendly. We could not have asked for a better experience and we recommend her wholeheartedly!!! Also, Babylon Tours was very communicative and helpful in advance of the tour. We simply emailed them through the Viator app and received prompt responses (calls, texts, and emails)! We found this high degree of attentiveness very reassuring.

Amazing experience and tour… - Our guide, Annette, was prompt, super knowledgeable and accommodating to our seven year old child. Loved the pace, knowledge and history she shared with the group. Our tour will definitely be remembered and made our trip to Florence a memorable one. The David in all his detail was exquisite and the tour of the Uffizi museum highlighted the pieces we really needed to see. Thank you!

Always go with a private/semi-private tour - Our tour guide is Elenora. She was very knowledgeable and accommodating. She was also able to adjust the agenda based on our preferences and provided a lot of Florence local tips for remainder of our trip. Going with a semi-private/private tour not only saved a lot of time (waiting inline), having an art historian as a tour guide was like having an European Art History 101, which our 14 year old daughter really enjoyed (despite her jetlag).

Makes Florence Come Alive - This was the highlight of my visit to Florence. I knew the city had so much rich history - but Giacomo "Jack" really made it come alive. I'm not much of a history buff, but his explanations were so vivid and he made it feel like listening to your favorite podcast. Highly recommend!
