Great Guide - The heat was extreme so skipping the line was great. Our guide added fascinating history that enhanced my appreciation of the stunning church and all of Florence. 100% worth it! Only down side was that they wouldn’t let my husband in with his large backpack and he wasn’t comfortable checking his work computer in a locker so he missed it.

A really good tour! - Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and engaging with our group when they asked questions. We booked last minute (same day) and would definitely do it again. It was also great to skip the really long lines to get in!

Duomo Not An Impressive Experience - This tour was disappointing. This is not the fault of Viator or our guide. After waiting about 30 minutes to get in, we then spent about 15 minutes with the guide, who finished the tour half- way to the front of the church. There was little for her to explain and the Duomo, other than its size, is not particularly impressive. Mike B, Upper Saddle River, NJ

Not great - The tour guide was very knowledgeable, but very very hard to understand. The headsets did not work well, you had to be close enough to the guide so they didn't cut out, which was impossible with the size of group. We did the tour to skip the line, but we still had to wait outside of the Duomo for around 15 minutes before we were allowed to go in. Glad we got to see the inside but definitely not as impressive as the outside.

Give this a miss.... - The tour was awful. Our tour was scheduled for 9.45 and (as instructed) we arrived 10 minutes early. We weren't advised that the catherdral doesn't open until after 10am, so we were out in heat (39C) until after 10.15am.... Over 30 minutes in extreme heat... Once we got in the tour guide (Rafa) spoke a bit, but it was muffled and difficult to understand. He was not very personable or inclusive. By 10.37 it was done.... he just said "tour is over".... So the tour was 30 minutes in a queue, and 15 minutes inside... :( I think everyone was taken aback. The worst tour of our trip, hands down. If they knew it wouldn't be open until 10.15, they should have told us.
