- Due to conditions inside the Duomo (463 steps and fairly narrow), wheelchairs, those with limited mobility, and anyone with claustrophobia cannot be accommodated on this tour.
- Children under 7 years old aren’t allowed on this tour.

Worth it - Our tour guide was Regina. She was an excellent guide (knowledgable and witty). Tour itself was well worth the price. You get a small group tour of the Duomo and stunning views of the city.
One tip for planning purposes is that the tour ends in the cathedral. The cathedral guard escorts us out to lock the door. Plan to be flexible with the timing as it could be a little longer than the 1 hr 45 min listed. Not a bad thing to spend more time in the cathedral in the evening, but be sure to account for it if planning dinner afterwards.

Chance of a lifetime - From start to finish this tour was top notch. Our guide Christiano was so knowledgeable and very personable. We really felt likeVIP as we skipped the line to enter first. Getting the insights as we walked up the 400+ stairs made the climb so easy! The view of the city from the top is priceless as you look down on the city and the Giotto Bell Tower. But it got better! We were privileged to have access to the outside terrace and walk around from the south to the north side of the Duomo. And there’s more…we walked down and were able to spend 10 minutes alone inside the cathedral ! When the lights go off it’s magic. We were then the last to leave and watched as the security guards locked up the gigantic wooded doors! When will you ever be able to say , you helped lock up the Duomo?? If you do one thing in Florence do this ! You cannot miss this tour!

Wowza. This is a special tour! - Wowza. This is a special tour. We didn’t wait in any lines & after a quick look at the incredible views of Florence from the top we got to walk around the outside edge of Brunelleschi famous dome. It just got better & better. We went back dune into the Duomo & had the entire place to ourselves. Our guide was enthusiastic about the history of Florence & the importance of this church &
the families & artists who created it.
When it was time to go we followed the key master up the main carved wooden doors & watched as he locked them
up for the night.
The climb to get to these views is tough, but because this is a private tour it is not crowded & you can go at your own pace.

Exclusive and moving experience - Wow what an amazing experience! If you’re looking for wow factor and an exclusive experience this is the best way to see the Duomo and escape the crowds. We loved being let onto the 2 exclusive terraces for close up views of Giotto’s bell tower and magical views of Florence down below. The best part though was at the end of the tour when we climbed back down the 400+ stairs and got to be ‘alone’ in the duomo with just our tour group. They turned off the lights and the atmosphere was incredible. Our guide was excellent too and gave us a great understanding of the Duomo and its creation. Highly recommend!

An AMAZING and affordable experience! - This is an amazing tour! Our guide was super knowledgable and easy to follow. It's incredible how affordable this tour is considering what you get - TRUE skip-the-line access to the dome (bypassing even those who had timed tickets); a guided tour of the 360-degree skyline; an EXCLUSIVE walk around the terrace on the outside of the cathedral (astounding!!), and finally, a chance to visit the cathedral ALL ALONE! Just our group! It was closed for the day to regular visitors and we got to see it alone. And the cherry on top? Closing the Florence duomo with the Key Master! Only the stunning sunset made it better.

Exclusive! - We loved the tour. Our guide was super knowledgeable about everything we saw and was happy to answer my many questions about the Pazzi Conspiracy (I am obsessed with it). Spending time alone in the Duomo and seeing it being locked is a truly unique experience!
