It was interesting - Our guide was excellent. She had a lot of energy. We did the simple 30 min tour. We didn’t do the climb. I would say do the climb tour if able.

Good tour, need better microphone! - Our tour guide was very good, though the radio equipment was distorted so not as good an experience as it could have been.

Worth skipping the line for - Our guide was excellent and it was worth it to skip the line. She advised us about going to the Baptistry and Duomo Museum which were great and not at all crowded. Short tour that leaves ample time for more exploration on your own.

If you want info on Duomo do this - Those that want information about the Duomo the tour guide was great. Isabella was so informative and very easy to understand. My only issue is that this was extremely expensive when you can wait in line for 30 minutes and get in for free. So if you eat someone that knows the history and just wants to see inside, don’t pay. It’s too expensive.

Great guide. Beautiful Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore - Viviana was a great guide and made the best out of the audio malfunctions. Disappointing of the length of the tour. I was under the understanding that my tour included the option of climbing the cúpula but apparently it didn’t. Anyway, I highly recommend Viviana.

Disappointing - The Duomo itself was incredible. I did like that the tour guide knew so much history. However, her accent was so heavy that a lot of us couldn’t understand her. We did not end at the other cathedral as the tour details indicated. She don’t seem to even know about the e backpack rule for climbing the steps (which was very inconvenient). Finally, the people at the office didn’t give me my ticket (even though I asked!) so I missed seeing the museum because I had no barcode. The whole thing seemed needlessly complicated at several points.

Buyer beware of what you’re actually getting - The tour of the cathedral was great but many of us in our group thought we had purchased tickets to climb the dome since our tickets said “with dome climb upgrade option”. That was the WHOLE reason we booked this. It is free to go into the cathedral so you don’t need these tickets. About 10 of us felt completely duped and the people we spoke to at the site were less than helpful.

Deceiving, disappointing, unconscionable. - If I could give this zero stars I would. I thought I would have the option to climb the stairs in the Duomo because that is what the tour description offers. However, I did not. I had to buy a separate ticket after this tour ended to visit the Baptistry and Duomo museum. I was not able to climb the Duomo. I felt very angry with Viator about this tour, and also disappointed, because my husband wanted to climb the Duomo and was not able to. I have had other Viator tours go really well. This one is false advertising and I guess I would describe it as a scam, since I did not receive most of what I thought I would with the ticket.

I felt cheated - None. I felt cheated. The title of the tour is misleading. No duomo. All you get is a less than 30 minute running tour. The guide was very bad. She walked and spoke very very fast, without caring for some seniors that were on the group. Not recommended, as I said, I felt cheated.

Could not find tour with crowds - Impossible to find the tour - could not find any signage amongst the crowds of people. So no tour was able to be taken. Shouldn’t be this hard to find - need landmarks, better description of how to locate, better tour signage.
