- Duomo - Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore - Your tour will begin just in front of the entrance to the Duomo ticket office at Piazza di San Giovanni, where your guide will lead you passed the public lines and directly into the cathedral, thanks to our special no wait access. Upon entering the church, your guide will begin the story of this incredible feat of engineering that required a whole new process for its construction. Including how, after nearly 200 years of construction, architect Filippo Brunelleschi’s innovative approach finally enabled its completion.
In addition to learning the history of this magnificent structure, you will also view the beautiful details of its interior including elaborate marble floors, stained-glass windows, and beautiful frescos. Your tour will be capped off by the viewing of Vasari’s famous Last Judgement, which lines the incredible 375 ft high dome.
After your thirty-minute guided tour you will have the option to remain and explore the Duomo at your leisure or continue out to the beautiful Piazza del Duomo.

My son loved this! - Great guide. Knowledgeable. Great hike to the top. Skip the line is the way to go to beat crowds and to conserve one’s time and energy to do other things.

Good plus helpful info for others - Beautiful Cathedral. Good guide although short tour. Very steep climb up but worth it. Over 400 steps. Several landings on the way. Bring water. When they say small bags only they mean it!! There is a storage area so allow time for that. Crowded in July.

Good tour. - The tour guide was great. She had a good balance of providing knowledge but not overly talking too much.
The only bad part is that 4 members of our group of 13 got into a car accident and were stranded on the side of the road. The company refused to give them a refund even though there was no way for them to get there.

Tickets should be sent electronically - The tickets should be sent electronically instead of chasing down a person with a “blue flag and shirt”. It made the experience stressful and not enjoyable

Be 15 minutes early - When they say 15 minutes early be sure you’re 15 minutes early. We were running behind and only arrived 5 minutes early and the tour group had already departed. Difficult to leave an accurate rating because I assume the tour was nice, but disappointed that they were no longer available and the tour operator did not respond to my messages until the next day.

Disappointing - Turned up at the meeting early, no guide at 10 mins before start. Thought we were in the wrong place. Eventually turned up at 5 mins before start. Guide supposed to have coloured clothing and a flag, wore ordinary clothes and her flag was a water bottle! Obviously not interested, she would just walk off and leave people standing. Supposed to be English speaking guide, but was very difficult to understand. Poorly organised and not very professional.

Fraudulent and misleading - The Title of the tour states “with Dome climb option”, in the fine print of the tickets it states “dome climb not included. It is fraudulent and very misleading. They wanted to refer us to another tour company and charge an additional $400 Euro to climb the dome. The dome climb is the only reason we selected this tour.
We didn’t do the tour after this, and called but have still not received a refund. I will be filing fraud charges with my credit card company.
