Looking for a food/wine tour in Florence? Look no further! - Our charming guide, Sylvia, provided a memorable experience filled with beautiful sights, a variety of simply delicious local foods and wines, and interesting conversation. The wine was indeed “free flowing,” and the food portions were generous and filling. Our only criticism: the link provided by Viator to indicate the location of the meeting place led us to an address a couple of doors from the actual meeting place, creating some confusion.

Fun and full! - Jamie was an excellent guide! So thorough, informative and a lot of fun! She told us a lot of history and information about the food and about Florence and its history! Super time! Loved Jamie!

Amazing food and wine tour - We had such an amazing tour with Jamie!! She took us to eateries that we would not have come up with on our own. Gave us many recommendations for the rest of our stay and more. I learned so much about the foods of the region, how many of them came to be, and the local ingredients they have to combine to get amazing results. Not only did we learn and taste the food from the region but the wine was free flowing. We had different wines and some signature cocktails to try. So grateful for Jamie and I really recommend that you try this tour with her.

Food and Fun in Florence! - we had a wonderful introduction to Florence on our food tour with Leticia. Since she up in Florence, she took us to some really cool local places into some fun and very local feeling restaurants. The stories were great, the food was delicious and exploring everything from views of the river to wine windows, was really a lot of fun. We finished at a delightful little gelato store and would highly recommend this as a great way to experience Florence.

Fabulous - What an incredible night! From the very beginning, the experience was fantastic. I went with my husband, and we had the chance to meet and chat with everyone there. By the end of the evening, we were all laughing, eating, and drinking together. Every option we chose was fabulous! It was a fun night all around, perfect for meeting new people.

A fabulous way to begin you visit to Florence! - Sylvia was a fabulous guide! The four restaurants were wonderful and the food and wine were plentiful! Sylvia was knowledgeable about Florence and so much fun! This was a great way to start our visit!

A very enjoyable evening with excellent food. - The tour leader, Chiara, provided excellent details about each course as well as history about the areas each restaurant was in.

Delicious meal. - We enjoyed this food tour. Our guide took us to several places to try Florence food and it was delicious. Lots of wine along the way if you can handle. Our guide was very attentive to everyone’s need. My son was 12 years old but he enjoyed the tour. Come with empty stomach. Lots of food. Highly recommend!

Guilia ROCKED Florence food and wine this tour!!! - We had an AMAZING time on this food tour and we would highly recommend it! Our tour guide was Guilia and she was super funny and kind and gave great tips and history of Florence. It was the perfect way to begin our stay in Florence, this way we could get the "lay of the land" and a true insider's view to help with our remaining time there. We started at a lovely bar on the river with tables next to the windows for the views. There, we had Prosecco, followed by bread with olive oil, bruschetta with some traditional tuscan toppings and the 2 famous, traditional riboletta dips. We also got to have plates of traditional meats and cheeses with some really fancy, LEGIT balsamic vinegar with a little tutorial on how to spot real balsamic vinegar, versus the ones with fillers and additives. Next, we got to go see one of the infamous "wine windows"; long line for others, but not for us! Guilia had taken our orders ahead of time (white wine, red wine or aperol spritz were the options), and a famous Negroni was also and option, but that one was picked up inside and not at the window. We went inside for a nice sit at our reserved table. Snacks were provided there as well. Guilia gave a history of the wine windows while we sat inside and sipped our beverages. Next, we went to an old horse stable that was turned into a landmark restaurant 100s of years ago (and still owned by the same family) for incredible Florentine steak and salad. AND...There were vegetarian options to the vegetarians in our group at all of our stops...Guilia was very, very accommodating to the whole group, the whole time. Finally, we stopped at a great gelato place and again, even though there was a long line, Guilia had us look at the menu, choose our flavors (we were each allowed two flavors) and then poof...we were handed our cups or cones from the counter-person. We left with super full bellies, loads of fun memories and new friendships...and a great start to our stay in Florence!! The value of this tour was incredible. All of the food, appetizers, Prosecco, red wine, white wine and dessert were all included. Our family of four could not have purchased half of the food and wine we got on this tour for this price. Kudos to the tour company, but especially to Guilia for creating such a special experience for our family. We can't wait to do it again on our next trip to Florence.
