Then explore the streets of Florence, taking in landmarks like the Ponte Vecchio bridge, Palazzo della Signoria e Piazza della Repubblica and learn about the influence of the famous Medici family on Florence.

- This is a walking tour. Guests should be able to walk at a moderate pace without difficulty.
- Due to the religious nature of the Cathedral, all individuals regardless of gender must cover their shoulders and knees. Walks cannot be held responsible for those denied entry.
- On Sundays, we will not enter the Cathedral of Florence due to Sunday mass. The guide will provide an explanation of the Duomo from the outside.
- We ask all guests (including children) bring ID on the day of their tour.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your tour, your guide will be holding a green Walks sign. This tour meets in Piazza di San Marco at the Monument to General Manfredo Fanti statue in the center of the square.

Lovely informative morning, rather than being stuck in a line queueing - Loved the tour ... despite being a few minutes late due to train delays and rushing to get to the meeting point! The tour skipped the queues and was very informative, and the ear pieces worked well - would recommend this tour for those wanting to get under the bonnet of the area and see the real side.

Not cheap but what a great three hours - Thank you so much Laura for sharing your vast knowledge and passion. You made everything so very special. It was a brilliant trip from the absolute magnificence of David through to the wonders of the duamo. Such a vast and passionate knowledge of the life and times of the renaissance era.

Incredible! - Our walking tour of Florence with Christiano was one of the best tours we've ever taken! He has an incredible gift for bringing history to life, adding depth and meaning to every landmark and story he shared. Seeing Michelangelo’s David in person was already a bucket-list experience, but Christiano’s insights made it even more awe-inspiring and meaningful.
The tour was well-paced—never rushed, yet always engaging. Christiano was ready with fascinating details and happy to answer any questions. We also had time to take photos and explore on our own, which made the experience feel well-balanced. The skip-the-line access was invaluable, as the regular line was extremely long.
If you’re visiting Florence, I cannot recommend this tour enough. It’s the perfect way to experience the city’s rich history and art with an exceptional guide!

A must tour for Firenze first timers! - Excellent introduction to Firenze and all the iconic sights and definitely worth doing. Our guide Stéphanie was superb and was very knowledgeable and we learned so much. Particularly liked the ear pieces so we could hear every word without having to crowd round. Skip the queue was great as the waiting time for David and Duomo was over 1 hour and that was on a Wednesday morning in March! There was something of interest around almost every corner and the 3 hours passed by quickly. There were little details that Stephanie relayed to us that you just would not know if you did a “self tour”. Initially, when booking, I thought the price was a little high but at the the end of the tour we thought it was worth every penny.

Good option for those short on time - This tour is good if you need to see the main sites in a short amount of time. It was convenient to skip the lines. Even in the slow season, the lines looked crazy wrapping around the buildings. We did find ourselves standing in the cold a few times as the tour walked through the city, so bring a jacket and scarf.
