A great tour of Florence religious centre - Gabriel gave us a first class tour of the religious centre of Florence from the exterior; the Baptistery, the Campanile, and the Duomo. He explained the significance of the history and related the buildings to the life of Florentines even today with tales from his own upbringing. His commentary over the headsets eas very clear and his English is perfect. He left us positioned in the skip the line queue of the dome climb and with recommendations of what to look for when we self-tour inside the buildings. The climb inside the dome is pretty cramped but you can opt out at around half way. My partner has claustrophobia and very nearly did that bit preserving to the top was a worthwhile experience with great views over the city. Your ticket includes entry to the cathedral, baptistery and the bell tower once each fur the next couple of days and with the advice Gabriel had goven us we made good use of those. I highly recommend this tour to you.

Great value for the money. - This truly was a "skip" the line tour for the climb to the Duomo, which was fantastic. However, the tour guide's 1-hour walk and discussion of the area before the tour was excellent as was is advice. Then the tickets were still good for 48 hours to tour all the other areas which we did take advantage of. Our tour guide had a great dry sense of humor, was local and gave us a lot of excellent tips.

A great tour with spectacular views from the top of the dome - Really enjoyed the tour. The meeting point was easy to find and our tour guide was prompt. Sadly I cannot remember his name, but he was very knowledgeable and he spoke very clearly. He gave us time to digest what he had said before we moved on. The climb to the top of the dome was good fun and we both really enjoyed it - my husband doesn't like heights but he was fine with it. A great trip and just the right amount of time from start to finish. Would recommend.

Love the tour and the dome experience. - I love this tour. Learning about Florence and their buildings history is very nice. The guidance gave a lot of information and the dome was a great experience, specially going in the top of it.

Would recommend - We misunderstood the tour and thought we were going to tour the inside of the duomo as a group however, the group tour is just the outside area of the duomo. Still a great tour and let us to climb the dome independently. They did reschedule our time but we were still able to make it. Would recommend!

Reserve visit to Brunelleschi's Dome EARLY - The Florence Duomo and especially Brunelleschi's Dome requires a time-specific reservation. Time slots sold by the Cathedral? are SOLD-OUT early, and hence I needed to join this tour at double the cost, or not visit it at all. The Tour was OK, as it came with an interesting guided lecture of Florence Dome done from outside, but my primary interest was to climb to the top of Brunelleschi's Dome.

Not the best - This “tour” consists of walking around the cathedral for 1 hour where you will hear the functioning hours of the battistero, the cathedral, the bell tower and the museum. You will hear an explanation of how the luggage/backpack storage are works. The guide will not come inside the cathedral or the dome or the battistero to go into detail. You are on your own there. The tour’s spiel could have easily be done in 15-20 min. My advise would be to check a different tour.
