Learn Medici history! - This tour was informative and interesting! It helped that our tour guide is the “last Medici” and is a history teacher gallivanting around telling us stories of the times.

Medici tour. - Absolutely fantastic guide and really informative tour. Would highly recommend if you’re interested in the Medici history and their influence on Florence. It was a highlight of our stay.

Great Walking tour of Florence - We had a great time, Marcelo was informative, funny and endearing. He shared so much knowledge with us and the pace was good. After visiting Florence before, there were so many buildings we passed and never knew anything about them, and now we do. My only wish was that I did this on day one and not our last day, because he gave so many other places to explore. Highly recommended!

Wonderful tour-we learned so much! - Such a fabulous tour with guide Irene! She was so knowledgeable and made the 2-hr tour through the ‘outdoor museum of Florence’ so unique and very interesting. Highly recommend if you’re yearning to learn more about the Medici family and the history of this city.

A splendid De Medici-tour through Firenze - Our tour was beyond any expectation! We had a fantastic guide, Lisa, and we were, moreover, very lucky because no one else had signed in for this tour, so we got a private tour! Lisa walked with us from Piazza San Marco to the Palacio Pitti and built hence in a very structured and clear way the story of the Medici family. For every question we had, she had a clear answer. She talked very well English and was always concerned about our well being (shade/sun!) and our well understanding of her story. Just wonderful! For more than two hours we were under the spell of the Medici family and Lisa! She was splendid from the first till the last minute! As a teacher of guides and tour leaders, I can say that she would graduate in our guides training cum laude! Congratulations, Lisa, you're doing perfectly!

Misrepresented the tour and the inclusions - We booked the tour because it sounded amazing on Viator/trip advisor however we soon discovered what was represented to us was not accurate and the tour didn’t include admissions or entry into any buildings, court yards or private passageways etc. When we sought an explanation from “Accord” the tour operator, they stated “ The overview description is written by Viator copywriters, not by our Tour Operator, the same regarding the advertising of this tour so if you'd like to forward a complaint you can do it directly with their customer service” So not only did they concede the advertising and description of their tour on Viator is wrong they sought to distance themselves and not honour those representations which was the reason we booked the tour. Further it appears they are not going to correct the misrepresentations in the future. So essentially we paid a premium price to be walked past historical buildings. The only saving grace was Mark our tour guide who was lovely, passionate and did his best in what was awkward circumstances. My recommendation is do not book this tour. Do your research, stay away from Viator and Accord and go with a local direct tour guide. We believe we are reasonable people and when we reached out to the tour operator they dismissed our complaint and concerns and we believe it is important that future tourists are aware that what is represented is not what you get.
