Experience a delightful self-guided GPS journey on our premium E-Bikes, starting from Florence and leading to Fiesole. The path offers a descent through charming cypress tree woods, past the Castello Di Vincigliata castle, and into Settignano village. There, seize the opportunity to stop at a charming local eatery offering delicious homemade Italian cuisine.
The journey continues from Settignano to the PoggioPiano vineyard. There, meet the Galardi family, proprietors of an organic Chianti Vineyard and olive plantation near Al Girone. Here, unwind at the estate with an inviting glass of their onsite-produced Chianti wines, complemented by an assortment of Tuscan cheeses, meats, and bread topped with their homegrown extra virgin olive oils.
Finally, the route guides you along dedicated bike lanes crossing the River Arno back to Florence. The final stretch leads to Piazzale Michelangelo for a breathtaking view of Florence from this renowned vantage point. After soaking up the view, return the bikes to round off this enchanting e-bike adventure.

Best Excursion Ever! E-Bike Florence Was Awesome! - Take 2 on reviewing E-Bikes Florence. My first review was rejected by TripAdvisor due to me inadvertently writing a duplicate review under my gmail login (now deleted).
Jon, owner of E-Bikes Florence is a great guy. He's friendly, knowledgeable, and informative. Jon was very accommodating to our large group of 12 from Wisconsin. He provided us with an interactive presentation regarding the route, assisting some of the "technologically challenged" in our group with the downloading of the Maps.ME app/maps. His bikes are well maintained and top quality.
The scenery on the route is spectacular. We stopped in the small town of Fiesole for some refreshments in the town square. I highly recommend a bottle of Birra Moretti from the food cart. For those who want a challenge take a ride up to the convent.
Our second stop was at the Fattoria DI Poggiopiano vineyard. We took an hour break to drink a few bottles of wine and eat some delicious snacks.
The E-Bikes create a very comfortable, easy ride. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is moderately fit.
The trip back into Florence was simple to navigate, but you do need to watch cross traffic as you cross streets back to the bike shop.

A beautiful day spent sightseeing on E- Bikes - Such a fun trip through the gorgeous small towns surrounding Florence. John at the shop was kind and funny (and has a lovely Scottish accent), and even road out to where we all were riding during the tour to make sure we all were OK. My husband needed more air in one tire and he jumped right into action with a pump he'd brought.
The vineyard was stunning- and the beautiful young woman who greeted us was exceptional. We were lucky to have picture perfect weather at the end of October.
Some of the hills and directions were a little challenging (even with an E- bike and map app), but certainly doable. You definitely had to pay attention when riding in and out of the city, and on the small country roads, so you just need to be comfortable on a bike and have ridden an E- Bike before. Having said all that, we highly recommend this self guided tour!

Top notch experience - One of the highlights of our trip was this bike tour. John did a great job of explaining where we need to go… The route is picturesque and easy to follow, provided you pay attention to the briefing. We enjoyed the stop for lunch and we’ll put that on our itinerary on our next visit.

Awesome experience! - This is a great bike ride! John did an excellent job in getting us setup and went through the route in great detail. He has planned out an awesome bike path, through the vineyards and with some great views of Florence and the area. The winery is just an added treat to an already great experience.

Amazing!!! - Great! The e-bikes cycle super nice, it might just take some getting used to the traffic in Florence. Drive easy and look around and you'll be fine. We first received a ‘debrief’ about the route and how the bikes work. That was super nice.
The first part of the route is really amazingly beautiful. You go high into the mountains so some of the style roads are a bit exciting, but the view is great. Super well put together. You can stop here and there to take beautiful pictures and there is an allowance for a toilet stop and views from the mountains. The descent is a bit exciting sometimes, but if you are an experienced cyclist you will be fine.
The visit to the vineyard is fantastic. The host and service are top and the view: wow!!!
The last part of the route is less beautiful than the first part, because you cycle through the city again, but that is also nice to see! Cycling is super fast and you really don't have to put almost any power to ride.
The Owner is a very nice gentleman, who also jokes occasionally and where you can have a nice chat. He explains it well and really gives you the confidence that you can find your way and you are doing well alone.
All in all, 10 out of 10!

A Great way to spend a day in Florence - We had a wonderful time on our e-bike self guided tour. We loved escaping the busy city for the countryside. The app was easy to follow and the bikes were powerful enough to take the hard work out of the hills. We stopped in a little village for an espresso and continued to the winery for some local wine and nibbles. We didn't want the ride to end! Don't do this ride if you aren't confident on a bike or have e-bike experience.

Fabulous day trip from Florence - My husband and I went at the end of our trip and had such a wonderful time. A highlight of our trip! The route is beautiful, Fiosole marvelous (stop for a pastry!) and winery lovely. I would recommend the to families (with older kids), couples, or solo travelers. John is extremely helpful and kind also. The bikes are in great shape! It is a hassle free excursion.

Such a great bike tour! - This self guided tour was perfect for us. We were able to go for a ride on our own at our own pace, stopped by a vineyard for awhile and then continued onward. Beautiful views, great way to get out of the city for a bit. 5 stars!

Florence box ticked both in the City and the surrounding Countryside - What a great way to get out of the city and experience some spectacular views. Had a great day with family, riding around Florence and the surrounding countryside. John’s bikes and route made for a very chilled day with a comprehensive briefing and mechanical cover if anything went wrong. Will do it again next time, thanks John.

Great day out! - A fantastic day out/ tour! The route was beautiful, city views, Tuscan landscapes, olive groves and of course a visit to a beautiful vineyard.
John gave a good briefing and was available if required and the bikes were great.
A must do experience.
