what a tour in Florence - Our Florence tour was a journey into the heart of the Italian Renaissance, beginning at the incredible Accademia Gallery. The museum’s highlights are Michelangelo's sculptures, particularly the "Slaves" and, of course, the iconic "David." The "Slaves" series is mesmerizing and "David" stands was truly breathtaking. Towering at 17 feet, his every muscle and vein is meticulously carved, embodying both youthful strength and a contemplative determination. Afterward, our tour continued with a guided walk through Florence’s historic city center, steeped in the legacy of the Medici family. As we passed the impressive Palazzo Medici Riccardi, we learned how this powerful family wasn’t just politically influential—they were the driving force behind the Italian Renaissance, patronizing artists like Michelangelo, Botticelli, and da Vinci. Their investments in art, architecture, and culture shaped Florence into a beacon of innovation and creativity. Our Florence tour with Antonio was exceptional! Antonio's passion for art and history brought every moment to life. His deep knowledge of Michelangelo’s works and stories about the Medici family and their impact on the Renaissance made the history vivid and engaging. Friendly, insightful, and captivating, Antonio truly made the tour unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Florentine Renassance at its best - I booked a city trip to Florence because it was long time since I visited this city and I wanted to see something I hadn't seen before. I chose this tour because I really wanted to admire the original David. I met Antonio, the local guide, who immediately made me feel very welcome and was able to transmit his enthusiasm for the beauty of the Florentine Renaissance. The Accademia was amazing and it was great to have already pre-booked tickets, since queues are massive! We also enjoyed beautiful parts of the city centre such as Piazza della Repubblica (full of Cafes and shops) and Piazza della Signoria (with the amazing Palazzo Vecchio and also the copy of the David...but seeing the original one beforehand was priceless), all enriched by Antonio's extended knowledge of architecture and history. 3 hours well spent, I absolutely recommend it!
